The young bride wears a velvet brocade gown in a beautiful ivory hue, with a very simple decoration: a wide bodice in precious Venetian lace, the hue of which harmonizes with that of the brocade. The simple, semi-sheer bodice is prolonged by the draped skirt, which follows the contour of the hips and ends in a long train .Instead of the traditional headdress that usually accompanies the veil, the white tulle veil is simply held back by a string of pearls across the forehead. The bride wears a pair of long kid gloves. Returning to an old-fashioned style, she holds a small white kid prayer book instead of a bouquet. The ensemble is delightful.
