My 26 years of life began growing up in north Idaho, & more recently brought me to eastern Washington where I attended Washington State University. Since graduating, I settled down here in the inland northwest & started this adventure, serving the community I grew up loving. I’ve been in love with this craft ev

er since I can remember, always taking a particular interest in photography, videography, writing, & just creating--in whatever way I could. Baylee J. Barnett Creations is officially 2 years old this week, so perhaps now is a good time to re-introduce myself🌼

I’m Baylee & I’m the heart & mind behind this whole thing here🤭 I’ll be turning 27 later this month (& fun fact: I was born on my mama’s birthday)! I grew up in North Idaho, but have spent the last near-decade in Washington. I’m married to my best friend (who happens to be the one who took this photo🥰) & we have 2 kitties—they are our whole world💛

when I’m not crafting these galleries I feel so lucky to document, I’m probably spending time with friends & family, on a kayak somewhere, camping, hiking, at home with my kitties, attending concerts, going on roadtrips, visiting national parks, & yes—you can probably still find me taking pictures & videos of everything. like c’monnnnn🤣

it’s so hard to believe we’ve been doing this thing ✨officially✨for two full years already. the amount of love & support we’ve received has been incredible & I am eternally grateful for the wonderful clients we’ve met, amazing relationships we’ve formed, & beautiful moments we’ve immortalized along the way🥹💗

this business became official 2 years ago, but I’ve always been in love with this field—taking a particular interest in photography, writing, videography, & creating. ever since I was a little kid I was fascinated with cameras & always wanted to be taking pictures, even as far back as 3 years old🥹 I love to keep this picture of little me on my desk because it reminds me why I do this to begin with: the desire to capture a moment & tell the story of it has always been so strong within me. I think of myself as a storyteller at heart, & all of these passions of mine help me be exactly that, unfolding in the most unique, ravishing ways🥰🌷

it has been such a wild ride, & never did I anticipate juggling my career with chronic illness. I live with many conditions such as endometriosis, mixed connective tissue disease, & POTS to name a few. it can be a challenge sometimes, but as you can see through my work, it certainly doesn’t stop me. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful care team & support system that has helped me through so much. I am so happy to be in a much better place with my health & so excited to get back out there 🤭 the year is filling up so don’t hesitate to reach out. let’s make some magic!🦋🪄

A Little Bit About Me...

Hello, and welcome! I am so glad you are here. My name is Baylee Jo Barnett. I am a 22 year old freelance creator based in the Inland Northwest of America. I was born and raised in North Idaho and moved to Eastern Washington after high school.

My creative works include that of photography, videography, graphics, and writing. I graduated from Washington State University magna cm laude in the Spring of 2020, with a Bachelor of Arts in English after double majoring in Creative Writing and Gender & Sexuality Studies and minoring in Sociology.

Creating has been a passion and hobby of mine since I can remember. I am a storyteller at heart, and I would love to tell yours through photography, film, or graphics! I would be honored to create for you, and to capture memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s get in touch and make some magic!
