Sometimes, I get to be in front of the camera in a costume instead of being behind the scenes making them. I had a blast last night, and what little raw footage I saw looked great! I'm excited to see it all come together in the edit.

Thanks J Ian Bush and Chris Bailey for letting me a small part of Headless and the Dammed ✌️ πŸ“Ή ❀️

That's a wrap on the first annual P-Town film festival πŸŽ₯ 🎞 🎬

Thank you Portsmouth 8 Cinemas for hosting this festival, and to all the the folks who came down to the movies this weekend to make it a success πŸ™Œ

Congratulations to all the filmmakers who were selected for this weekend's showcase. Without you and your passion for film making, there would never be a need to do a movie festival in the first place! Keep on making movies, y'all.

Until next time, keep those cameras rolling!

P.S.- My 10 year old self would think I'm so cool doing what I do now. I do all this for her πŸ₯° 😎🀣

It took me a few days to think how to put this into words, but Tim Curry, as much as Dolly Parton, had a big part to do in my upcoming and childhood. Tim from a young age taught this girl that it was okay to be weird, and to embrace being different, enjoy life, and never let myself fit in a box, and to march to the own beat of my drum.

When I first watched Rocky Horror Picture Show, I fell in love with the outlandish musical, and all the characters in it. Little did I know, the gentleman playing Frank-N- Furter was also the same person who played The Butler in Clue, Pennywise in IT, voiced many characters in cartoons such as Nigel Thornsberry, Hexxus in Furngully, The Mouse King in Barbie in the Nutcracker, Ben Ravencroft in Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost, among SO MANY more films and cartoons that I watched growing up and as an adult. This man achieved such a wide range of things in his career, and much like me, it all started by singing and being on stage in theatre 🎭

I hope to have as much of a filling and successful career as he him. Remember, Don't Dream It, Be It β€οΈπŸ’‹πŸ—Ό

Rest in Peace, Tim Curry πŸ«‚

This morning, I was listening to Dolly PartonΒ  getting ready for work and drinking coffee out of my 9-5 mug. While hanging out at home, I started folding some dish towels from the dryer when "Coat of Many Colors" started playing on my speaker. I started tearing up a bit while listening to the lyrics of the song folding the dish towel in my hand because it made me think about my parents, and where I came from. Much like her mother in the song, my parents provided so much love to us, and they gave everything they could to provided for us over the years.Β

Even though we were poor Appalachians on a farm doing the best we could, Dolly Parton provided a generational glue to connect us, and provide this Eastern Kentucky girl the chance to believe in herself to do great things no matter where she came from. She also taught me to never let anyone dull your sparkle, to treat others with kindness, to have a great love of reading and learning, to pursue a higher education degree (becoming a first generation college graduate), and to always dream big for myself.Β

Dolly was a reminder that we should always appreciated the little things in life while we got them, and to know you are worth it in this world.Β

Rest in peace, Dolly Parton πŸ¦‹πŸ’—πŸ¦‹

IT'S Been a long time posting, but IT'S FILM FESTIVAL SEASON! I have been attending several film festivals over the past few weeks with Subject To Change Ent. and staying busy with upcoming projects, so forgive me on that front πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

First was the Dutch Tilt Film Festival in Bellefontaine, OH. Last weekend we were at Indie Gathering in Columbus, OH where we learned so much from the lectures and connected with many other filmmakers passionate about the craft.

Up next is the first annual P-Town film festival September 10th-13th Portsmouth 8 Cinemas. Tickets for the festival are now available! Check out their socials for more details.

Stay tuned as we hear back from more festivals, and of course, for many adventures and projects in the works! I am so excited as more things come along and I can share them with you πŸ’—
