Hi, I’m Jen! I’m the owner of REthink & REuse Party Kits LLC, and I’m on a mission to make your next gathering effortless and eco-friendly.

The concept is simple: Rent. Party. Return. 🧺🥳
I provide the cups, plates, bowls, utensils, and cloth napkins. You host the best event ever. Then, you hand the dirty dishes back to me, and I handle the cleanup. No mess, no storage, and zero single-use waste heading to the landfill!

The Truth About “Compostables” 🚩
Think buying paper plates is the green way to go? Sadly, many “compostable” products are victims of greenwashing and can’t actually be processed by our city services here in Portland. They usually just end up in the trash. Reusable is the only way to be 100% sure you’re staying green!

This past month has been incredible! Between four major rentals—including my son’s Eagle Court of Honor—we saved over 1,400 items from the landfill. 🤯

I might be terrible at taking “perfect” setup photos (checkout the reality of the “before” and “after” bins!), but the results are beautiful:

Soft opening SUCCESS! 🎉

We had an amazing evening earlier this week providing eco-friendly reusable tableware for the Troop 351 Court of Honor potluck, marking the soft opening of REthink & REuse Party Kits LLC!

We helped a large crowd celebrate their scouts and the planet, proving that sustainability is both easy and impactful for any size event.

The results from this ONE potluck are inspiring:
• 🗑️ Over 330 single-use items were kept out of the landfill!
• 🍎 4.2 lbs of food waste were diverted to compost!
• 🌳 We helped the Troop’s support their host, Creston, a Green School, by reducing their event trash AND collecting a bag full of plastics not accepted curbside; recycling through and

🥳 Ready to party responsibly?
I’m thrilled to announce I am officially launching Rethink & REuse Party Kits! LLC later this Fall! 🌎

I’m so excited my new little business is almost ready for its Grand Opening! I’ll be offering a sustainable, hassle-free solution for your next celebration: reusable party kits for both kids and adults.

It’s been almost a year of nights and weekend work—I’ve checked so many items off my list, from filing all the official paperwork and opening a business bank account to designing the logo (which I’m surprisingly proud of)!

But for me, the best part is the inventory!
90% of our kits are already pre-loved and thrifted! By choosing to rent a kit from me, you get double the sustainable impact:
1. Reducing Waste: You skip the single-use plastics and disposable paper products that aren’t actually recyclable or compostable (despite what the packaging tells you!).
