I’m back at the Capitol this week for a full schedule of committee hearings. My colleagues and I will be reviewing the progress of key initiatives and hearing from state agencies about how they are serving Oregonians and stewarding public resources.

Topics on this week’s agenda include:
• Protecting families from rising energy costs under the POWER Act
• Strengthening oversight and safety standards for residential care facilities and homes
• Expanding the Oregon Earned Income Tax Credit and supporting job creation through targeted incentives
• Reviewing specialized hospital care and services for pediatric patients

I look forward to the thoughtful discussions and collaborative work ahead as we continue addressing the issues that matter most to Oregonians.
