Silence has never been our brand. Happy --> For those who have followed us for a while, you already know this isn't new for us.

Our support for the LGBTQIA+ community doesn't begin on June 1st and it doesn't end on June 30th. It lives in the weddings we produce, the couples we celebrate, the organizations we support, the conversations we have, and the values we choose to stand behind every single day.

For years, we've donated monthly to organizations including the and the . Not because anyone was watching. Not because it was trending. Simply because equality, dignity, and belonging matter.

Pride is beautiful. It is joyful. It is celebratory.

But Pride was also born from courage. From people demanding the right to exist safely, openly, and authentically in a world that often told them they couldn't.

This month, I hope we (our community/society) do more than post a rainbow.

I hope we speak up when it's uncomfortable.

I hope we support organizations doing the work.

I hope we show up for our friends, neighbors, family members, and complete strangers who are still fighting to be seen, accepted, protected, and loved.

And if speaking out makes your voice shake a little, that's okay.

Start anyway.

One of my favorite parts of producing a wedding or special event is getting the gallery back from the photographer.

After 17 years and hundreds and hundreds (and 100s!!) of events later, I honestly have so much content I sometimes end up with complete content paralysis.

There are endless beautiful details, gorgeous portraits, incredible design moments…but somehow, my favorite images are usually the ones no one is going to print.

The in-between moments.

- Welcome champagne waiting to be passed.
- Floral catching the light just right.
- A table before the room fills.
- Tiny details. Warmth. Atmosphere.

Because the essence of an event isn’t just the aesthetic. It’s the feeling inside of it. The energy. The frequency the room gives off✨️

And photographers like Bryan capture that beautifully. They notice the quiet moments most people overlook and somehow make them feel alive all over again.

Those are the images I come back to every time.

is one of my favorite parts of any wedding.
After nearly 600 weddings (17 yrs in!), cocktail hour is still one of my favorite parts of the day, I love to step back and watch.

This is where the magic really happens🥹

People reconnecting. Hugging. Meeting for the first time. Seeing kids all grown up. Sharing stories, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling of collective joy (which feels SO GOOD)

The energy during cocktail hour is palpable. Honestly, sometimes even more than the reception dining itself.

And when couples pair that atmosphere with beautiful, approachable food and thoughtful service? It becomes an experience guests actually remember.

Moments like this are a constant reminder that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I can’t tell you how many consultations we’ve had over the last 17 years where a couple comes to us already overwhelmed, already over budget, and already locked into contracts they regret signing.
Almost weekly, someone asks us: “Can you help us get out of this?” “We’re in over our heads.” “We should have hired you sooner.”

And honestly? That’s the part people don’t talk about enough.
