The JAM pedals Wahcko wah has served as a flagship pedal in JAM’s lineup since 2008, legendary for its immediate feel and dynamic expressivity.⁣

The new Wahcko mk.2 maintains this vaunted legacy while refining its essence and expanding its capabilities. Among these mk.2 refinements are a battery operation option, and internal DIP switches that allow the Wahcko to be configured for bass as well as guitar, extending its low-end response while retaining its signature sonic footprint. There’s also a new internal Q trimmer for further tweaking the wah’s character and response. ⁣
⁣
The heart of the pedal is of course its custom, vintage TDK-style JAM inductor, inspired by those found in classic Vox and Cry Baby circuits from the ‘60s. Just like its venerable predecessor, the Wahcko mk.2 also features a six-position SWEEP rotary switch for selecting six distinct frequency ranges, an internal gain trimmer, industry standard 9V operation, and true bypass switching.⁣
