It ain’t optional, it’s one third of your final score and the quickest way to go from just another drunk with a mic to a local legend.
We’re talking costumes, props, glitter, fire (okay, maybe not fire), fake mustaches, whatever it takes to make jaws hit the sticky bar floor.
Get the crowd screaming. Get the judges engaged. Get off that stage and cause some harmless, unforgettable damage. Just don’t stand there staring at the monitor like you're reading court documents.
Song choice matters. Crowd work matters. Energy is everything.
Show up like you're possessed.
