🎤 SPACE COAST IDOL SPOTLIGHT ANNOUNCES MAJOR COMMUNITY SINGING COMPETITION BENEFITING EARLY STEPS SPACE COAST
Space Coast Elite Entertainment is proud to officially announce the launch of “Space Coast Idols Spotlight”, a large-scale live singing competition and fundraiser event benefiting Early Steps Space Coast, with auditions beginning this summer and a grand finals event taking place on the historic Cocoa Village Playhouse stage.
Designed to celebrate local talent while supporting an important community cause, Space Coast Idols Spotlight aims to spotlight some of the best undiscovered vocal performers throughout Brevard County and the surrounding Space Coast region.
Open auditions will be held Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Gatherings at Southern Charm Event Venue in Melbourne, Florida. Contestants will perform one karaoke-style cover song in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. From those auditions, 12 finalists will be selected to compete live at the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The Finals Night event will feature live performances, audience engagement, raffles, giveaways, and major prizes — all while raising awareness and support for Early Steps Space Coast and the families they serve.
Finalists will compete for:
🥇 1st Place:
• A fully produced, professionally distributed track provided by the presenting sponsor
• $2,000 cash prize
🥈 2nd Place:
• 4 hours of studio recording time
• $1,000 cash prize
🥉 3rd Place:
• 2 hours of studio recording time
• $500 cash prize
“This is about more than just singing,” said Mark, owner of Space Coast Elite Entertainment. “We want to create something the Space Coast can rally behind — a real showcase of local talent while also giving back to an incredible organization doing meaningful work for children and families in our community.”
Early Steps Space Coast provides vital early intervention services and developmental support resources for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Through this partnership, Space Coast Idols Spotlight hopes to combine entertainment and philanthropy into a memorable annual community event.
The competition is free to audition for nd Tickets will be available for the public to attend. Contestants of varying backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Friends, family, and supporters are welcome at both the auditions and finals event.
