St. Patrick's Episcopal of Pooler

St. Patrick's Episcopal of Pooler St. Patrick's is an open community that welcomes all people. Our life together is centered on worship, common prayer, work, and play together.

Join us for Coffee and Conversation at 9:45 and child-friendly worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Patrick's believes in God who loves us each as we are, and who shows us that love in the world around us, in the stories of our faith, and most fully in Jesus Christ. We respond to God’s love in our daily lives, caring for all those around us, working for the good of Creation, and seeking to gro

w into our identity as God’s beloved children. Our Sunday worship is a service of Holy Eucharist, also known as Mass, Communion, or the Lord’s Supper. We welcome questions, doubts, and wondering, believing that in engaging such questions we grow in our faith.

Today is the Feast of St. Anna Alexander, a saint from the Diocese of Georgia.

Deaconess Alexander was known in Glynn County for dedication to her church, the school, and her community. It wasn't uncommon for her to drive her former students to college as they got older, ensuring that those students were able to continue their education. Long after her death, the love and appreciation for Deaconess Alexander is still prevalent in the area.

A Collect for Deaconess Anna Alexander

O God, you called Anna Alexander as a deaconess in your Church, and sent her as teacher and evangelist to the people of Georgia: Grant us the humility to go wherever you send us, and the wisdom to teach the word of Christ to whoever we meet, that all may come to the enlightenment which you intend for your people; through Jesus Christ, our Teacher and Savior. Amen.
