Black Fig & Co.

Black Fig & Co. Boutique charcuterie boards + grazing tables crafted with seasonal ingredients, eco-friendly by design using reusable serveware, & food-sensitivity friendly.

Serving Ponte Vedra, St. Johns County, & St. Augustine for large events + intimate gatherings. Ciao! My name is Shannon — a food-loving creative & proud Italian mama based in sunny Nocatee, Florida. As a woman-owned business, Black Fig & Co. was born from my love of bringing people together over beautiful food & meaningful moments. Life can be hectic (I get it — I’m raising a little boy!), but I b

elieve in slowing down & savoring life’s sweetest moments — especially when they’re shared around a thoughtfully crafted board with good company. What started as a simple idea quickly became something more: a way to turn tradition, flavor, & a little flair into lasting connections. Everything I create is made with heart, inspired by my roots + my passion for gathering around a beautiful setting. I’m so happy you’re here. Welcome to my table.

I have a note in my phone filled with random observations.

Not business ideas. Not recipes. Just little things I don’t want to forget.

A hosting tip a client shared with me. A lesson learned from a catering event. A local recommendation worth remembering. A detail that made a gathering feel especially welcoming.

Over the past year, I’ve realized that while I started Black Fig to create beautiful food experiences, I’ve unintentionally become a collector of stories.

There are so many things I’ve wanted to share but never really had a place for. Hosting ideas. Lessons learned. Local favorites. Traditions worth keeping. The small details that make people feel welcome. The things that make a house feel like a home.

So after much procrastination, overthinking, + telling myself I’d get around to it “someday,” I’m finally launching something I’ve wanted to create for a long time.

The Journal.

A place for stories, tradition, + gathering well.

The first entry is live. If you decide to read it, I hope you see a little bit of yourself in it. I'd love to know your thoughts.

Wait for the end to see my favorite part of the weekend. 🩵

One thing about a charcuterie girl, the weekends are never slow.

This past weekend looked like two different types of grazing tables, charcuterie boards, wedding catering, graduation parties, a family gathering, deliveries, very early mornings, & lots of miles around St. Johns County with cheese riding shotgun. And yes, I am an XO girlie, & you can almost guarantee I’m listening to The Weeknd.

My favorite part of it all will always be what waits for me at the end.

With so many incredible new faces joining my little corner of the charcuterie world recently, I thought a re-introduction might be fun.

Hi, my name is Shannon. I am the heart behind Black Fig & Co. I am completely enamored with this little business of mine.

Sometimes it’s hard to decipher what I love most about it all. Maybe it’s bringing a vision to life through beautiful tables + curated details. Maybe it’s the privilege of meeting my clients, hearing their stories, meeting their families, & being invited into moments that mean so much to them. Or maybe it’s this incredible community, both locally + across the country. I’m constantly inspired by the creatives, small business owners, & fellow charcuterie artists surrounding me.

The truth is, I started this business without some grand master plan. I just knew I wanted to build something meaningful & show my son that the world was his for the taking through big dreams, manifestation, & hard work.

As we approach our one-year anniversary at the end of this month, I still find myself in awe of what Black Fig & Co. has grown into.

A little about me outside of the business… I’m entering my fabulous 40's this September, I’m a true Virgo through & through, dark + moody vibes are my comfort zone, & you’ll almost always find me dressed in all black. I’m married to my absolute best friend, we have an incredible four-year-old son, the sweetest mini dachshund puppy, & a home that is small, a little messy, & completely perfect.

I’m also proudly Italian, which probably explains my deep love language of feeding people.

Black Fig & Co. was built with sustainability + intentionality at the forefront, & creating inclusive experiences matters deeply to me.

If you’ve supported this dream in any way, thank you. Truly. I couldn't feel more grateful. I’m so happy you’re here & I can’t wait to continue creating beautiful moments together. ✨

Fun Fact: That little Italia bag behind me comes to every single grazing table setup. It belonged to my grandmother & was one of the last things she gave me before she passed. It is my little way of keeping her with me through all of this.
