Due to unforeseen circumstances, many of the sternwheel boats have had to go on to their next destination in Marietta. Because of this, we’ve decided to postpone the reading of the Tribute and names of deceased river folk and the Lifetime Achievement Award until the Mothman Festival, when many of the sternwheel boats will be back in Point Pleasant.

Tonight, Blue Moves will still be playing from 8-10 PM, and Butcher’s Best BBQ is set up downtown for lunch and dinner!

Reminder! The parade will take place tomorrow at 3 PM on Main Street. Lineup is at 2 PM at 11th St. by Main St., Baptist Church. If you have a boat that you’re entering in the race, we encourage you to put it in the parade as they will be put in the river when they reach first Street. We would love to see a great turnout! After the parade make your way over to the riverfront for the race and evening festivities. Josh Folmsbee and the crooked roots will take the Rivers Health stage at 8 PM with fireworks immediately following at 10 PM. See you there!
