But here's something to consider...

What if you used that gathering to set the stage for 2027, too?

Maybe it's introducing two clients who could benefit from knowing each other.

Recognizing employees who went above and beyond.

Or inviting a few referral partners you want to build stronger relationships with next year.

Sometimes the biggest opportunities come from the conversations that happen when people are simply enjoying themselves.

✨ My tip? As you're planning your year-end celebrations, think about one relationship you could strengthen or one opportunity you could create while everyone is together.

A little intention can go a long way!

Perfect fall weather, a little golf, and one of my favorite Chamber days of the year. 🍂⛳️

Had such a fun day yesterday playing in the Annual Fall Chamber Classic at Plymouth Country Club with the Hood Remodeling, Inc. crew! Always a good time with this group. 😉

This year felt a little extra special, though.

At last year's tournament, South Shore Event Solutions was still just an idea.

Yesterday, I got to play representing SSES as a Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce member AND a hole sponsor. ❤️

Kind of crazy what can happen in a year.

I can't say enough about how supportive the Chamber community has been of this little business of mine. The relationships, referrals, encouragement, and opportunities have played such a big part in SSES's first year, and I'm incredibly grateful for all of it.

And of course, a special thank you to Kevin Hood - my #1 fan and supporter from day one. ❤️

What if your next business event wasn't really about the event? 👀

We spend a lot of time thinking about the event itself: who's coming, where we're hosting it, what we're doing...

But what if we zoomed out a little?

Because one event can actually be just one touchpoint in a much bigger plan to grow your business, strengthen relationships, and keep moving toward a specific goal.

In this week's Event Solutions Small Business Tip of the Week, I'm sharing a real-world example of what that can actually look like, and why the question shouldn't always be: “What event should we host?”

There might be a much better question to ask first. 😉

Well… THAT was a week. 😂

Now that I’ve had a couple of days to come up for air - I’m starting to wrap my head around what we actually pulled off on Saturday.

Four days before a 300-person gala, we made the decision to move the entire event from a oceanside estate under a tent… to a mall entrance.

And then we turned that mall entrance into a ballroom.

In FOUR days.

Oh, and then we actually hosted the gala in the middle of a Nor’easter. 😅

Just… WOW.

There is SO much I want to share about this event - and I will. A longer post and lots more pictures are coming!

But I can’t post anything about this weekend without giving a huge shoutout to Kelly Petti from the Plymouth Independent. Not only is she an incredible business partner, but I think she officially earned the title Queen of Fundraising this weekend. 👑😂

The amount of teamwork, quick decisions, texts, calls, pivots, and more than a few moments of “Are we really doing this?!” that went into making Saturday happen was unreal.

So incredibly proud of what we pulled off and grateful for EVERYONE who jumped in and helped us make it happen. ❤️

Still riding the high from last night! ✨

What an incredible experience being one of just five entrepreneurs selected from so many applicants to take the stage at SEAL THE DEAL and pitch South Shore Event Solutions!

It was an honor to stand alongside four other entrepreneurs, each with an incredible venture of their own. I have no doubt there are some BIG things ahead for all of them!

I’m also incredibly grateful to the investor “sharks” for seeing the value and growth potential in SSES and choosing to invest in my business. This funding will allow me to make some much-needed technology and system upgrades so I can work more efficiently, serve even more clients, and continue growing SSES.

It was pretty amazing (& a little terrifying 😬) standing on that stage and getting to share what I’ve built in less than a year—and where I hope to take it next. Definitely a moment I won’t forget!

A HUGE thank you to Jim Hanna, Amy Naples, and Stephen Cole for putting on one hell of an event! 👏 You created something really special for our local entrepreneurial community, and I have a feeling SEAL THE DEAL is going to be helping local businesses grow for many years to come!

Thank you to everyone who came out, cheered me on, sent messages, and supported me along the way. I felt ALL the love!

A little chilly, a lot of pink, and a great day for an even better cause! 💕

Fall definitely decided to make an appearance yesterday for the Ellie Fund Golf Tournament at Pinehills, but the sun was shining - and so was ALL the pink! 💗☀️

Such a fun day out on the course, made even better knowing we were supporting an organization doing incredible work for breast cancer patients and their families.

Great golf, great people, great cause. Hard to beat that combination. ⛳️

💫 Give clients and prospects something to talk about.�

💫 And create an experience people actually want to tell others about.

THAT'S where the ROI comes in.

Because if your goal is to strengthen client relationships, attract prospects, generate referrals, or get people talking about your business, the venue can actually help you get there.

So when you're venue hunting, don't just ask, “Does this space fit everyone?”

Ask, “What can this space do for my event AND my business?”
