Kaitlyn and Chris wanted to incorporate their son, Winston, into their engagement photos and boy was he a hoot! Such an adorable, smiley boy!

Kaitlyn and Chris’s love story began at a softball tournament about 4 years ago. They plan on tying the knot next September 💕🎉💍

After 2 rained out sessions, we finally had the PERFECT weather for Hailey’s senior pictures last night! As with the other seniors I have posted this year, Hailey was also a student I had my very first year of teaching. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact I first met her 5 years ago!!

Hailey has plans to go into dentistry and has her eyes on some fantastic schools!

This was the photo Lydiah was most excited to take. I wanted to share a little bit about her running career:

Lydiah started running in the third grade and quickly discovered she had a knack for it. By middle school she was placing at the national level, which led to a very successful freshman year. As a freshman, she made it to state in cross country and sectionals in track. She has been a leading force for the girls track and cross country teams.

When she isn’t representing Southern Door she can be found preparing for local races. She has ran 2 half marathons, first one at the age of 12 and placed 3rd, second one in high school and placed 1st. She placed 3 times at the Bellin 10k Run, which is one of Wisconsin’s largest runs. Lydiah has ran almost 1 a month for most of her running career.

In January of 2019 Griffin was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He spent the next 6 months, mostly in the hospital undergoing treatment and earned “Bravery Beads” every step of the way. A bead was “earned” for every blood draw, chemo treatment, injection, infusion, dressing change, test, scan, and much more. He even earned a foot bead for each mile he walked in the halls of the hospital. The beads are strung in order to tell the story of his journey. He is a true WARRIOR!

One of Griffin’s passions is wrestling. He’s been a star wrestler for the SD Team and has also been a state qualifier. In a normal world, he would have gotten some shots taken in the wrestling room, but we made the adjustment to do them outdoors due to Covid.

Hello everyone! It has been a minute since I've posted on my photography page. I've really taken a step back in my photography business but still love to capture moments for close family and friends.

Meet Griffin Slezewski! Griffin is a former student of mine and I had him my very first year teaching. I also had the honor to teach his older brother Ben and work with their wonderful mother, Tracy. Monday night was the PERFECT night for senior photos. The weather was beautiful and the sunset was spot on! As Ben and his mom showed me around Sugar Creek I asked Ben if we could take a few shots of him in front of the sunset. Of course, Ben was very go with the flow and agreed. These turned out pretty neat!! Such a beautiful background.
