It’s the sweet details like these, the moments that put the flowers themselves on a pedestal to be admired after the couple has had their time - the, “this is our day” feeling. this shot has nothing to do with the florals but it feels as if they’re running towards the ceremony, the spot where the flowers get to have their time, their moment.

getting to style with my vintage at my favorite flower farm was a sweet little awakening for me - getting to style, direct & shoot (on film) made me realize how much I love the creative direction part of what I do. this shoot was for my little vintage shop .phl in hopes of having my online store available this fall. there will be clothes, stylings & vintage/antique home goods; and in store you’ll find all the dried florals you love.

After a year in my new studio .phl also my vintage shop…I’m beginning to embrace the play of making again. When it comes to dried flowers there’s a lot of little factors & while getting a new shop is also a lot of time and thought so is the “art of drying flowers.” the temperature, the amount of light, knowing which flowers like to be bunched together and which don’t. within this moving of flowers, vessels and general space I’ve finally gotten comfortable to just PLAY! I have some lovely radios, cameras, dolls, gum ball machines etc hitting the shop soon! Honestly, I find it a bit silly that I rarely post my weddings here as that is my main design bit that I do - I have weddings every weekend this month and it was about the same the last; I’m learning balance and it’s a lovely little journey. My shop is full of my weddings full of and and of course my dried pieces are meant to last and made with so much love.
