I’ll never get over Hannah & Adam’s candle unity ceremony.

It got me thinking about all the meaningful, slightly untraditional ceremony rituals couples are choosing lately.

Here are some symbolic ideas I love:

• Handfasting with meaningful fabrics or cords
• A wine blending ceremony where you create your own bottle together
• A sand ceremony with different colors representing two families becoming one
• Tree planting with soil from places you’re both from
