Wedding signage is one of those details people think they don’t need...
until they see what good signage does to a space.

Because yes, your signs tell people where to sit, where to go, what they’re drinking, where to leave their cards and all the practical stuff.

But they also do something else:

They make the event feel finished.
A beautiful welcome sign instantly sets the tone.
A hand-lettered seating chart becomes part of the décor.
A mirror sign can turn an otherwise empty corner into a moment.
Bar signage, menus, table numbers, ceremony signs... when they’re done well, they help tie the whole design together instead of feeling like an afterthought.

And this is where I will always say: please, PLEASE do not wait until the week of your wedding and print something on cardstock because you suddenly remembered you need a seating chart. 😂

Signage is part of the design.

Treat it like it is.

Hot take: you do not need a wedding theme.

You need to know how you want it to *feel*.

Because “rustic,” “boho,” “modern” or “romantic” only gets us so far.

Instead, tell me this:

Do you want people to walk into the room and feel like they’ve stepped into an intimate dinner somewhere in Tuscany?
Do you want it to feel dark, romantic and a little dramatic?
Warm and candlelit?
Wild and garden-y?
Old-world and European?
Editorial and unexpected?
Soft, effortless and intimate?

THAT is where good event design starts.

Because once I know the feeling we’re creating, I can start translating it into the actual details.

The weight and texture of the linens.
Whether the florals are structured or look like they’ve grown wildly across the table.
Warm candlelight versus bright overhead lighting.
Vintage glassware or something clean and modern.
Handmade stationery.
The shape of the tables.
The chairs.
The rentals.
The colors.
The way guests move through the space.

Even how much is on the table versus how much breathing room we leave.

It all matters.

And this is why I’ll always care more about the sentence “I want it to feel like…” than “my theme is ___.”

You don’t need to fit your wedding into an aesthetic someone already named on Pinterest.

We can create something that actually feels like *you*.

And honestly? Those are always the events I find the most interesting.

This week’s wedding color obsession: cherry & lilac 🍒

Moody reds paired with soft lilacs might sound unexpected, but together? It feels romantic, editorial, dramatic, and a little bit fashion forward all at once.

I’m obsessed with the contrast between the richness of the cherry tones and the softness of the purple. Add in layered draping, textured florals, candlelight, dark fruits, statement stationery, and suddenly the whole wedding feels like an art piece.

This is for the couples who want color without it feeling overly bright or traditional. It’s bold, romantic, slightly whimsical, and perfect for anyone wanting something that feels different from the usual wedding palette.

🫶🏻I grew up in Europe, but you'd never be able to tell by my accent.

🫶🏻Diet Coke is unfortunately a core part of my personality at this point.

🫶🏻I’m a published author, and for some reason I still get awkward telling people that out loud.

🫶🏻I always have either a TV show or a book going. Usually both at the same time.

🫶🏻I genuinely cannot function without having a trip planned. Even if it’s six months away, I need to know I’m going somewhere.

This is your sign to put fruit on the table. 🍇🍒🍐

No, really.

If your tablescape feels like it’s missing something, fruit might be the answer.

Grapes spilling over the edge of the table.
Pomegranates tucked between florals.
Cherries scattered around candlelight.
Pears, figs, citrus, whatever fits the mood.

It adds texture, color, movement and that slightly undone, European dinner party feeling that makes a table look SO much more interesting.

And the best part?

It doesn’t have to feel overly styled.

Actually, I think it looks better when it’s a little imperfect.

Destination weddings will forever have my heart.

There’s just something different about them. Everyone slows down a little. Your favorite people are all in one place for more than just a few hours. It turns into more than a wedding day, it becomes a whole experience.
The welcome dinners, beach mornings, late night drinks, excursions, group dinners, the chaos of traveling together, the memories that happen outside of the actual ceremony… that’s the magic of it all.

And yes, planning a destination wedding can feel overwhelming. Different locations, travel logistics, vendors, timelines, guest communication, weather backup plans… it’s a lot. But when it all comes together? There’s honestly nothing like it.

Watching Jaylin & Nick get married in Riviera Maya felt like stepping into a dream 🫶🏻

The best events look effortless.

That's usually how you know someone worked very hard to make them look that way.

Because what your guests see is:

beautiful tables
perfectly placed candles
flowers that look like they just happened to grow there
music starting at the right moment
dinner flowing smoothly
champagne appearing exactly when it should
a room that feels completely finished

What they don’t see?

The 47 emails.
The floor plan that changed three times.
The boxes hidden under the tables.
The extension cords we are desperately trying to make disappear.
The vendor calls.
The timeline edits.
The steaming.
The hauling.
The chair moving.
The “wait, where is that sign?”
The “we need another table over here.”
And the very glamorous moment of crawling under a table in nice clothes because something needs fixing. 😂

That’s the thing about a well-planned event.
It should never feel like a production to the people experiencing it.

The logistics should disappear.
The transitions should feel natural.
The room should feel intentional.

Why I do what I do?

Because weddings are never just about the wedding.

They’re about the people. The family dynamics. The tiny details someone has been saving to a Pinterest board for three years. The traditions you want to keep, the rules you want to throw out, the guests flying in, the vendors showing up, the timelines somehow needing to be both realistic and magical, and the fact that everyone has an opinion about your day even when they were not asked.

It’s a lot.

And I know how quickly something that should feel exciting can start feeling like a second job with flowers.

That’s why I do this.

I want couples to feel like they have someone in their corner who can take the stress, the logistics, the vendor questions, the layout changes, the “wait, who is handling that?” moments, and turn it all into an actual plan.

Not just a pretty wedding. A wedding that works.

A wedding where the details feel intentional, the people feel cared for, and you actually get to be present instead of silently calculating whether the caterer remembered the gluten-free meals.

I do this because I love the beauty, yes. The flowers, the fashion, the tablescapes, the signage, the drama of a good veil moment.
