What an incredible weekend together for Foundations! As the city battles with its spastic weather patterns, we pushed through the heat and humidity and gathered once again for the next chapter in our journey.

The vibe was absolutely perfect, we wanted to take a few moments to thank Hop Farm Brewing Company for another great night in Lawrenceville. Special thanks to our partners Manifest Sound System and BassPass as always we appreciate you so much. 

A huge thank you to Erin Marie for the amazing work with the stage and environment design, and thank you to our wonderful guest Brett Baumgardner for closing out the night in style.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our friends and family and this beautiful community who have shown outpouring support for this music project, we can’t wait to keep dreaming up the rest of the story with you. ❤️❤️ Thank you so much!!!

SimHouse Productions presents in collaboration with Hop Farm Brewing Co. a new electronic music series - Foundations: Locally Brewed Talent & Good Vibes

"Foundations" is a new take on growing a local community together through the spirit of great house music. Behind the music, is a safe, and unique place for local artists and fans to connect and grow. At its very core, Foundations is more than just a party, it's a shift in perspective. This new project is our way of giving back to a scene that’s shaped us, inspired us, and helped push Pittsburgh’s house music movement forward.

Good house music is taking over Pittsburgh by storm!

Let the music set you free, as we unite all flavors of deep, melodic, progressive, afro/latin, and everything in between. Foundations will always have a tight focus on showcasing the incredible talent that already exists in the Pittsburgh area. Join us in the lush sprawl of Lawrenceville, PA for Foundations!

July is heating up fast as the SimHouse Productions team gears up for another Foundations premiere! Mark your calendars for July 12th as we welcome Brett Baumgardner and returning artist Bear Brysk to take the night away.

Our philosophy may feel very familiar those that already embrace and practice these four principles: Exude and encourage peace, show and reciprocate love, understand we are all here to be unified amongst our differences, and in turn be respectful and responsible. You will cross paths with many incredible people, and establish friendships that will last a lifetime. Strong communities have strong foundations, built from the inside out.

We are so overwhelmed with the amount of love and support we experienced this weekend! As we've said before, strong communities are built from the inside out. Foundations first ever event said it all! From the positive words spoken, to the immersive vibe that you created, the feedback we received filled our hearts beyond capacity! We found ourselves caught in many beautiful moments looking around the room in complete awe of what had been built right before our eyes. So many people laughing, dancing, sharing special moments with friends, and even making new ones. It’s moments like these that make all the hard work worth it. We want to continue to make these events possible playing a role in creating those memories together.

It is with great love and respect and that we wish to send a few distinct thank-you's over the air.

A special thank you to Hop Farm Brewing Company who have been a family partner on all of our ideas and the vision for Foundations since the first day we walked through the front door. The brewery location and staff exude a caring and compassionate nature which are both quintessential parts of our philosophy, and are our dear friends. To Andre at Manifest Sound System for making our sound and lighting/stage design shine, you are a true purveyor of this scene and have helped so many realize their goal for playing live music in the city. To the BassPass team for building a platform to showcase and grow our electronic music community through better customer experiences and a strong network of like-minded enthusiasts. To my amazing wife and co-founder Erin Marie of SimHouse Productions who has consistently brought her creativity and empathy to our stage design and our interactions with our guests. You are an amazing partner on this journey together sweetheart. A thank you to my dear friend Jon Martin for delivering an amazing performance and experience while captivating folks with all of the love and emotion that your music contains, I can't wait to listen to those mixes for days on end.

And lastly to our families, friends, and fans whom have supported us since the early days, who have been there for the last nights and planning sessions, who have showed up to help load-in and setup, and brought so much joy to our process. (Chris Buono, Anton Kei, and more, you know who you are! Each and every one of you make these events possible at an individual level, and we are truly so appreciate of the power you have to make a difference in this scene. We only hope to provoke positive change, one party at a time.

We are excited to write the next chapter in the Foundations saga together, as the summer ahead of us holds no bounds, and the music plays on. This is how you grow a strong community.. Look for more Foundations announcements and updates in the coming weeks!
