Just Another Bookish Ball has a little surprise for you.

Don’t worry! It’s good news.

In the past weeks, we’ve been negotiating contracts for various aspects of the event (like food), and are pleasantly surprised to find that overall costs are a little less than we expected.

(To be clear, we haven’t cut corners or sacrificed anything we initially promised. We were just overly careful with our initial budget, given global supply chain fluctuations.)

As your showrunners, we put a lot of thought into what to do with this “extra” money. We knew for sure, however, that we wanted it to benefit every attendee for our May 22-24th event.

Ultimately, we’ve decided the best way to thank our community is by lowering our ticket prices.

The new, reduced ticket price (listed soon on Eventbrite) is as follows:

Fantasy Flea Market: 85 USD (originally 100 USD)*

Fairy Ball: 225 USD (originally 300 USD)*

Or, 15% and 25% in ticket savings!

For those of you who have already bought your tickets, we have not forgotten about you! You’ll soon receive an email from Eventbrite with a partial refund for the event. Your entire ticket is not going to be refunded, and you can still attend the event with the ticket you initially purchased! But we wanted to make sure the cost you paid reflects our new, lower ticket prices.

We are thrilled to share these savings with you! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know.
