Have you met Ravonne?!

Here’s a glimpse into Ravonne, our incredible Lead Wedding Day Manager at Stark White! Fun Fact – Ravonne’s first wedding assignment was Stark White owner, Jessica’s, wedding day! With trust like that you know she has your day well managed. Jessica and Ravonne met in college at Youngstown State University which was many years ago but feels like yesterday.

Ravonne also comes from the corporate world. During the week, she plans events for a mental health network focused on eating disorders. She appreciates the unique opportunity to connect people with much needed resources.

Beyond weddings, Ravonne is a true lover of the arts, often immersing herself in Pittsburgh’s vibrant theatre scene and attending local arts events. She’s also a dog enthusiast so she’s perfect for a couple having their furry friend as the ring bearer!

Her absolute favorite moment of any wedding day? The vow exchange gets her teary eyed. And when it comes to the legendary Pittsburgh cookie table, she’s reaching for the classic Ohioan favorite, the buckeye, every time.

Hey there, lovelies! 👋 I'm Jessica, the heart and soul behind Stark White Weddings. 🤍✨ Can you believe I never introduced myself? TBH I can…social media has never been my forte. As the OG lead planner behind this passion project, let me share a bit about myself.

It all started in high school when I was voted ‘Most Likely to be the Next Martha Stewart.’ ⛓️👮 I’d spent all my years of school making each take home craft project as perfect as perfect can be. Tests? Pish posh… Make a mummy? Let’s make it life sized! (I may have wrapped my neighbor in chicken wire to get a realistic shape & the same height of King Tut) ⚰️ My love for details morphed into leading 4 years of Best Decorated Class Christmas Tree 🎄🥇and a perfected craft of applying glitter to anything.

After school was finished, I moved into the world of corporate events where I worked for a bunch of companies no one has ever heard of 🤝 Those of us in the B2B space consider ourselves to be unsung heroes of everyday life. We don’t care much about digital marketing or boosting an online store. We prefer carefully crafted experiences. Like a plant tour finished with the perfect dinner reception or providing an escape from the trade show floor with private lunches offering regional cuisine and perfect wine pairings.🍷🍴

Life now consists of playing hostess with the most-ess at every chance possible, a house of meticulously done upgrades, a garden that needs to be bigger, flower beds I change every year, 4 quilts I’m working on at any given point, cats, bourbon, freelance corporate event planning & the most important – WEDDINGS! 🥂
