After careful consideration, we’ve decided that some of y’all need adult supervision at birthday parties.
And we’re NOT talking about the kids. 😭
We’re talking about the grown adults who show up in blue jeans, cowboy boots, and a knee brace and somehow end up being the most competitive person at a 6-year-old’s birthday party.
The ones who say, “I’m just gonna bounce for a minute.”
Next thing you know, somebody’s uncle has taken his belt off, emptied his pockets, and is giving a motivational speech to a group of kindergarteners.
“Y’ALL AIN’T READY FOR THIS.”
Sir, they’re six.
One of them still eats crayons.

And don’t even get us started on the obstacle courses.
Nothing brings out a grown man’s competitive side faster than watching a child crawl through a tunnel.
Suddenly he’s timing everybody on his Apple Watch and accusing little Johnny of cutting corners.
JOHNNY IS IN FIRST GRADE.
His mama is trying to cut the birthday cake, his grandma is packing up the leftovers, and this man is demanding a best two out of three.
Meanwhile, his wife is standing there holding his shoes, wondering where she went wrong.
