FINAL EVENT REMINDER – PLEASE READ

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone out tomorrow. Below are important last-minute clarifications and field-specific rules per Fightertown. Please review these carefully so the day runs smoothly.

FIGHTERTOWN PRO SHOP
Opens at 11:00 AM

• Free air fills all day
• Food available for purchase, provided by Fightertown
• BBs, gas, and standard pro shop items will be available for sale

FIELD-SPECIFIC RULES (STRICTLY ENFORCED)
These are Fightertown rules and are non-negotiable:

• 400 FPS max, chronograph enforced
• Barrel bags must be used at all times when not actively on the field
• Full-face protection is required for anyone under 18
• No pyro of any kind, aside from admin-controlled props

RENTALS AVAILABLE

• $21.50 for the full event
• Includes a replica, battery, one high-cap magazine, chest protector, and mask

Rentals are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

CORE EVENT RULES

• Semi-auto only for all replicas
– Approved machine gun replicas may operate in full auto
• Three-minute bleed-out after being hit
– You may wait longer for a medic, but must remain in place for the first three minutes
• Only medics are authorized to revive players and will use event-provided bandages
• Any player may drag another player to safety for a medic
– If you do not wish to be dragged, you may walk while maintaining physical contact with another player
• Medics may be revived by any nearby player using a bandage from the medic’s bag
• Medics may only refill bandages at their team FOB
• The FOB is the only authorized location to refill magazines

FINAL NOTES

Please arrive early to allow time for check-in, chrono, and gear setup. Respect field staff, refs, and fellow players. If you have questions or need clarification, contact an admin.

EVENT REMINDER | PLEASE READ

We’re getting close to game day — here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect.

📋 REGISTRATION FLOW

- Pre-registration via HopUp is strongly encouraged

- Day-of tickets are available (cash or card), if registering day of please bring both uniforms if you have them for balancing.

Gates open at 1100, please arrive early for:
- Check-in
- Chrono
- Team assignment

Teams will be locked once gameplay begins — late arrivals may be placed on either team for balancing.

🎟️ RAFFLE INFO

- Each ticket includes 1 raffle entry
- Additional raffle tickets available on site. $10 will get you an additional 5 tickets and a chance to compete in a timed course to win more tickets.
- In-person raffle only — must be present to win. Raffle will be held at the end of the event.
- Some raffle items include 12 Fightertown day passes, 2 AEG rifles, and 1 gas pistol!

All gameplay follows Fightertown/DSM rules:

- FPS & joule-based chrono enforcement (400FPS/1.49J)

Fightertown Takeover – Event FAQ

Tickets: $35
Includes full event access + 1 in-person raffle ticket (raffle will be conducted on-site only).

We will be using all fields combined, including the Wash, for a large-scale, immersive experience.

Gameplay Style

This will be an objective-based gameplay day with props and interactive elements.
There is no rigid storyline — just structured objectives and team-based play.
Please review the DSM uniform guidelines to determine which team colors you should wear.

Two extended play sessions:
• Session 1: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
• Session 2: 4:15 PM – 6:00 PM

We are excited to announce a 2025 field takeover event! We are working with Fightertown Paintball Park to do a full field takeover on Friday, December 26 2025! We hope to see as many of you there as possible to check out new gear, or dust off old gear. The Desert Shield Milsim team is exploring new locations for future events, and we want to hear from YOU!

We’re currently working hard on building relationships with the surrounding BLM field offices, submitting permit applications, securing insurance, and making sure everything is done the right way.

Would you be interested in playing at:
- Flagstaff, Arizona
- Wikieup, Arizona
- Gila Bend, Arizona
- “The Ranch” Gila Bend, Arizona

Ticket Pricing Discussion:
To cover costs like mandatory BLM fees (minimum of $7 per ticket), insurance, and other hosting expenses, we’re considering a $40 ticket price for a Saturday-only event. This would include:
- A raffle ticket
- A custom event patch
- Other SWAG we’re able to secure from sponsors

Thanks for those who were able to make it out to our co-host event, we had an absolute blast putting it on and found something the three of us are super passionate about that we can bring to the community. If you didn't get to make it out for this one, we will get our 2025 tentative dates out as soon as we can so people can get and idea of when they will see us again.
