A travel size sewing kit is one of the heroes of the wedding day, and not just for the bride. Groom attire often receives less attention, which makes last-minute fixes for the guys more common than you’d expect.

At a recent wedding, Risa used her sewing kit for a groom whose trousers needed a last minute adjustment. With the ceremony approaching, what could have become a stressful moment was instead a moment of calm- and made for a few fun photos- simply because the right tools were within reach.

Using the sewing kit from The Signature Bride Kit, she relied on:
- A sewing needle
- A needle threader for speed (pre-threaded needles in bridal tones are great for this too, especially if there’s a time crunch!)
- Black thread, matched to the groom’s trousers
- Sewing scissors to snip stray threads
- A safety pin for reinforcement and added security on the dance floor
