I sat with this one for a minute….
Woke up this morning and saw an article from MSN naming me as one of the voices to know in 2026… and it hit me in a different way.
Not because of recognition.
But because of the journey.
From a kid who found shuffling cards as an escape…
To a locker room in the NFL…
To standing on stages around the world sharing a message bigger than me…
And honestly… it didn’t make me think about success.
It made me think about survival.
About the kid who used magic to disappear from the chaos.
About the nights that felt heavy… uncertain… alone.
About all the moments where quitting would’ve been easier.
And somehow… piece by piece… that same kid built a life where he gets to wake up excited.
Not because everything is perfect.
But because there’s purpose.
There’s something powerful about finding a reason to get out of bed that’s bigger than fear… bigger than doubt… bigger than your past.
For me, it became football.
It became magic.
It became sharing a story I once wanted to hide.
None of it was ever part of some perfect plan. It was purpose.
And now… it’s standing in gratitude for all of it.
The highs.
The pain.
The lessons.
The second chances.
Because purpose doesn’t erase where you’ve been…
It transforms it into something that can help someone else.
I’ve learned this:
When you find something that gives your life meaning… something that makes you wake up excited… something that allows you to serve others… that’s the real win.
Football gave me discipline.
Magic gave me wonder.
Life gave me perspective.
And today, I’m just grateful I get to wake up and do what I love — and hopefully remind others that their story matters too.
If you’re still searching, keep going.
If you’re struggling, keep going.
One day… you’ll wake up excited too.
And when you do… you’ll understand why none of it was wasted. ❤️
Purpose isn’t found… it’s built.
One decision. One belief. One day at a time. Remember forgiveness doesn't change the past, it changes the relationship you have with the past.
