What a momentous evening! Thank you to Mayor Parker for kicking off tonight’s concert by conducting the Star-Spangled Banner. The history of the 1876 Centennial Exposition came to life right here in the Centennial District, where it all took place 150 years ago. Bravo to all the artists who made the world premiere of A Hundred Years On a success!

The Philadelphia Orchestra’s June residency continues with 50 Years of Music in the Park (June 18) and Disney’s The Lion King In Concert (June 20) - join us!

Thank you to The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage for providing major support for this program.
