Bring the project you’ve been tinkering with, dreaming up, obsessing over, or haven’t quite figured out yet for a MoA Show & Tell. Share what you’re working on, get some feedback, and meet fellow creatives.

Throwback to our installation days. Of the hundreds of pieces in the bank, countless quirky treasures were the result of our artists depositing their youthful enthusiasm and pure creativity into (in this case) the President's office.

Throwback to the day we split the car in half. Dan Ostrov lent his industrial transformative currency to the bank, turning this old car into, of all things, Chicken Girl's desk.

🧑‍🎨This month's featured artist is Alex Derwick. Alex is an animator, illustrator, game designer, muralist, and film director based in Baltimore, MD.

Alex mixes heavy emotional moments and cartoon logic together to create a strange and silly world. Grounded in autobiographical stories, Alex uses satire, fantasy, and sci-fi to help work through the all too real difficulties in life. Asking the audience, “Isn’t this absurd and wonderful?” Alex has collaborated with Girl Skateboards, Tyler Childers, and several murals with his mentor Meg Saligman. And his feature film, THE MOTHERLOAD (2026) , is available to buy or rent on Apple TV.

You can find his video work scattered throughout MoA, or shop his artwork in the MoA shop throughout July.
