This past weekend, I wrapped up a whirlwind tour—three magic shows for adult audiences in one day! From start to finish, each show delivered laughter, amazement, and a sense of wonder, but what the audiences didn’t see was the careful preparation that made it all possible.

Performing multiple times in a single day requires more than just energy and enthusiasm—it demands smart design. Each routine has to reset quickly and cleanly, especially when you’re loading into three different venues with barely time for a cup of coffee between them.

Over the years, I’ve built my performances not just to entertain, but to work—logistically, practically, and magically. That means designing effects that are visual, engaging, and self-contained... and that can be reset in the car on the way to the next venue!

During this recent tour, I debuted several new effects—each with its own unique flavor. I’ll be diving deeper into these in the coming weeks, but here’s a sneak peek:
