Adán Bean is an Emmy-nominated, Telly Award-winning spoken-word poet, musician, writer, host, storyteller, & creative director. Originally from Northeast Ohio, Adán has called Atlanta home for over twenty years. A Morehouse College graduate, he has anchored himself firmly in the arts, culture, & music scene through work with Change.org, TEDx, The Moth, Habitat for Humanity, AT&T, CarMax, PGA Tour, Coca-Cola, Cricket Wireless, Delta, Sony, Def Jam, Cash Money Records, & more.
Nhataniel Placide is a first generation Haitian-American poet, scientist, potter, & educator. He is the host & facilitator of The Space, a multidisciplinary arts showcase & open mic based in Kennesaw, Georgia. He approaches poetry the same way he approaches everything else: it’s just a conversation. Through that conversation, Nhat often explores his relationships with self, the world, & God, bringing a bold disposition, a cheeky smile, & a whole lot of clarity to the stage.
