Celebrate 50 Years of The Pennsylvania Ballet...and Centuries of The Dance in Philadelphia.
GO2GUY Invites you.
GO2GUY IS PROUD.....TO ANNOUNCE....
GO2GUY is proud to announce that we are co-producing an extraordinary symposium on the history and development of the arts in Philadelphia focusing on the dance.
Philadelphia, not New York City, was the place where the arts, grew their roots, in colonial America before United States. Philadelphia is where everything happened in the world's second-largest English-speaking city, outside of London.
Please join us next week for highly interesting conversations about Philadelphia's contribution to the arts not only in Philadelphia, but in the World. And, in particular we also will focus on the celebration of 50 years of The Pennsylvania Ballet.
We are fortunate to be able to have in attendance some of the people who through their love of the art and through a lot of work and pain, imagined and made real, a World class troupe in Philadelphia and made it happen.
Barbara Weisberger, protégé of the phenomenally important George Balanchine, will be with us to tell her story of the passion and joy that she imbued into the fledgling troop in Philadelphia decades ago, Her passion and vigor has never waned, she still is fervent in the cause of Dance, and in Particular...Dance in Philadelphia. Ms, Weisberger will be sharing her thoughts, and her incredible tales of her history as a force in Dance.
Please join us and listen and discuss the little known stories of our great city and its impact on the art of Dance.
Sign up now for these incredible two days... or just just for one discussion.
