Meet the Team at Black N Ivory 🖤- Founder, Ryir Norris discovered his affection for event planning while working weddings as a mixologist, bartender and assistant planner for different companies in Philadelphia. Over time, his passion for helping others to celebrate blossomed into a sincere devotion, thus creating Black N Ivory. It is Ryir’s goal with Black & Ivory Events to continue to uplift the community around him through events services and non-profit fundraisers. In addition to being the founder of Black & Ivory events, Ryir also spends his time teaching ballet and music throughout local communities.

Meet the staff at Black n Ivory 🖤 Tanya Thomas- Event Designer. Tanya, according to her mother, has displayed the assets of a successful entrepreneur as early as her developmental years. From her first lemonade stand in northeast Philadelphia to her first volunteer gig at a daycare in West Philadelphia, Tanya lent her talents in minuscule but impactful ways. This act of independence developed into Tanya’s title as one of the highest paid service managers in Philadelphia by the age of nineteen. She has worked as a coordinator for companies such as Valley Green Inn and has been deemed a staff and client favorite by many. Since then, Tanya recognized her enthusiasm regarding the mechanics and satisfaction of planning and executing events. This enthusiasm inspired her to assist in the development and ex*****on of Black N Ivory.
