So, since prom is over the question is 'What's Next?' Well, I've thought about turning this into a legitimate nonprofit where I could raise money for all high school seniors in our area, who can't afford to go to prom, could go. I'm tossing around a few ideas.

•This weekend I'll be busy getting out thank you cards to those who sent donations.

•Oh I almost forgot... I did not win that magazine contest but I do appreciate EVERYONE who voted for me. I still will be IN the magazine and I'll take a pic of it when it comes out. It's a honor to be included with all the other amazing inspiring teens.

•Now that I'm 18, I can officially join my family's Halloween nonprofit Croydon Haunted Hollows as a board member. I'll be the volunteer director and I'm really looking forward to this years haunt. We also do a sensory friendly haunt for families with autistic children so definitely check us out.

Ok I had a speech prepared and my nerves got the better of me. What I wanted to say was thank you to the community for helping make this prom happen! And thank you to Bristol Township for this amazing commendation.

A message from Shannon's Mom: Shannon was nominated to be in Inspiring Teens Magazine and she made it to the final round!! To vote for her, it's a $5 donation. The magazine uses the donations to give out scholarships and she's in the running to get one. Regardless who gets the most votes, her name will be in the magazine.
