Sam Regalbuto, a seasoned veteran in the world of costume and prop design, is proud to unveil his latest venture: Regal Costumes. Sam's journey in this creative field began in the comics in the early '80s, gaining momentum when he joined the Golden Crown Fancy Brigade in 1989. With a rich history that includes a transformative period with the Quaker City String Band starting in 1992, Sam has been

a cornerstone in the industry for over three decades. His roles have been varied and impactful, from being the Executive Vice President orchestrating New Year's Day Parade productions to leading as President of the String Band Association. Sam's illustrious career is marked by several prestigious awards, such as the String Band Association Hall of Fame, the String Band Association President’s Award, and being honored as the Quaker City Man of the Year, to name a few. New Year's Day 2024 marked the debut of Regal Costumes under Sam's expert guidance, and it was nothing short of a triumph! The parade showcased exceptional skills in creating imaginative and captivating costume designs, from innovative foam structures to elaborate set designs. As Regal Costumes embarks on this exciting journey, Sam Regalbuto is thrilled to bring his wealth of experience and boundless creativity to the forefront, promising unique and unforgettable designs for every client.

The Long Bright River series, based on Liz Moore’s acclaimed NYT bestseller, has officially premiered on Peacock, and we couldn’t be more excited to see our costumes in action.

The team at Regal Costumes, with stunning back pieces by Scott Moyer, poured creativity and craftsmanship into bringing the Mummers-inspired designs to life for this production. Seeing these costumes on screen is a proud moment for all of us.

A heartfelt thank you to Liz Moore and Jeff Crompton for choosing Regal Costumes to be a part of this incredible project. It was an honor to bring these special suits to life for the series.

Regal Costumes extends its sincere gratitude to Jeff Crompton for facilitating our collaboration with Liz Moore, the esteemed author of the renowned NYT bestseller, Long Bright River. This masterpiece has been transformed into a captivating series on the Peacock Network, scheduled for broadcast this Thursday, March 13th. With Jeff's invaluable connection and Liz's exceptional work, Regal has had the honor of crafting several unique costumes for this distinguished production. Stay tuned for the notable presence of Jeff Crompton, the esteemed members of the Avalon String Band, featuring the talented designer Sean Graser and the melodious Jimmy Milligan, lead vocalist of the band Big House, making their appearance and delivering a captivating performance in this extraordinary series.

The eight-part thriller will delve into the world of drugs and murder as it follows Philadelphia police officer Mickey, played by Amanda Seyfried, as she patrols a poverty-stricken neighborhood hit hard by the opioid crisis.
