Others are beautiful because of the love behind them.

Lilah & Scott’s wedding was both. 🤍

From the beginning, Lilah poured her heart into creating a day that felt personal, meaningful, and completely true to them. Every sign, every carefully chosen detail, and every design decision reflected the love story they were celebrating. Nothing was done simply because it was trendy—it was done because it mattered.

One of my favorite details was the heirloom photo tucked into Lilah’s bouquet—a quiet reminder that the people we love most are never far away on life’s biggest days.

What made this celebration even more special was the setting: a family backyard transformed into a wedding venue filled with love, memories, and meaning. While not every couple has access to a space like this, it serves as a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t have to happen in grand ballrooms to be unforgettable. Sometimes the most meaningful venue is the one that already feels like home.

Lilah spent countless hours thoughtfully planning and designing this day, working alongside her vendor team to bring her vision to life. From the waterfront ceremony to the beautiful florals she carefully envisioned with her florist, every element felt intentional and uniquely theirs.

As the sun set over the water and these two celebrated surrounded by the people they love most, it was impossible not to feel the joy, gratitude, and love woven into every moment.

Some weddings stay with you long after the last candle is blown out and the final table is packed away.

Nicole & Tyler’s wedding at Ates Ranch in Milton is one of those weddings for me. 🤍

From our very first conversation, Nicole and I instantly clicked. She didn’t come to me with every detail figured out—she came with a vision for how she wanted her day to feel. Together, we brought that vision to life through thoughtful design, western-inspired details, dusty blue accents, meaningful touches, and a whole lot of dreaming.

Looking through these photos, I don’t just see beautiful décor. I see Nicole walking down the aisle with her father, Tyler waiting beneath the oak trees, their first kiss as husband and wife, and all the little details that made their wedding uniquely theirs.

One of my favorite parts of this journey was helping Nicole discover her style and watching her confidence grow as every piece came together. What started as wedding planning quickly became a friendship, which makes the end of every wedding season a little bittersweet.

And a special thank you to for capturing these moments so beautifully. As a coordinator, I spend so much of the day behind the scenes, and these images allow me to relive every detail and hold onto these memories right alongside my couples.

As a wedding planner + coordinator, one of the questions I get asked constantly is:

“Where do you find your outfits?”
“Where are your styling pieces from?”
“Where do you shop for wedding details, décor, and event essentials?” 🤍

So… I figured it was finally time to start sharing. ✨

Welcome to a new series where I’ll be linking some of my favorite finds, planner must-haves, wedding styling pieces, tablescape inspiration, event essentials, and the little details that help bring everything together beautifully.

From dresses and shoes that can survive a 14-hour wedding day, to the f***y packs that secretly hold my entire life onsite. 😂 I’ll be sharing all of my go-to favorites as a wedding planner/coordinator.

And if you’re a vendor slowly moving out of the traditional “all black attire” phase… don’t panic. These pieces come in SO many color options so you can still coordinate beautifully with your client’s wedding aesthetic, season, and overall design vision while looking polished and professional onsite.

✨ Your DJ is more than someone who presses play. ✨

As a wedding planner/coordinator, I can confidently say: who you hire as your DJ MATTERS. A LOT.

A professional DJ doesn’t just provide music — they help drive the entire flow of your wedding day.

They:
🤍 Keep the timeline moving smoothly
🤍 Coordinate seamlessly with your planner, photographer, and caterer
🤍 Make important announcements clearly and professionally
🤍 Read the room and adjust the energy accordingly
🤍 Keep guests engaged without making things feel awkward or forced
🤍 Help create emotional moments during entrances, first dances, and special dances
🤍 Know when to slow things down and when to bring the party back to life

One of the biggest differences I notice between experienced DJs and inexperienced ones? COMMUNICATION.

The best DJs are proactive. They check in with the planner. They know the timeline. They anticipate transitions before they happen. They understand that weddings are live events with moving parts — not just playlists.

And from a guest experience perspective? Your DJ can absolutely make or break the atmosphere of your reception.

A packed dance floor, smooth transitions, proper microphone etiquette, good pacing, and keeping guests informed all contribute to how your wedding FEELS.

Your guests may not remember every centerpiece or linen choice… but they will remember if the reception felt fun, smooth, organized, and full of energy. 🎶

Your vendor team should work TOGETHER — and a great DJ becomes one of the most valuable parts of that team.

You’re not just hiring someone to “show up on your wedding day.”

You’re hiring the person who:
– Communicates with every vendor so you don’t have to
– Builds and manages a timeline that actually works in real life
– Helps create the overall flow, floor plan, and design so your day feels cohesive, intentional, and seamless
– Catches problems before they ever reach you
– Keeps your day flowing when things don’t go exactly as planned

Because here’s the truth…
Something will go off schedule.
Something will need adjusting.
Something unexpected will happen.

And while your Aunt Mary or your best friend Jane loves you dearly…
they’re not equipped to handle large-scale logistics, vendor coordination, or real-time problem solving when things go wrong.

They should be celebrating with you — not working your wedding.

And the difference between you feeling stressed or completely at peace
is who’s handling it behind the scenes.

A good coordinator doesn’t just “help.”
They protect your entire experience.

They make sure you’re not answering questions, fixing décor, tracking down vendors, or watching the clock…

You’re present.
You’re soaking it in.

What everyone thought was just a reception… turned into one of the most beautiful surprises I’ve ever had the honor of being part of 🤍

From the very beginning, Sam trusted me with her vision—one filled with intention, meaning, and the kind of details that tell a story far deeper than what meets the eye. And getting to bring that to life alongside the most incredible vendor team? Such a gift.

Guests arrived expecting a celebration… and instead witnessed a surprise ceremony that left not a dry eye in the room. ✨

Every piece of this day held purpose—
Her mom hand-painted the most meaningful aquatic postcards (truly one of the most special touches 🐚), and tucked into the night was a vintage photo booth… a quiet nod to the very beginning of their love story, where their first date was captured the same way.

One surprise after another.
One thoughtful detail after another.
One beautiful reminder that love is in the little things.

Shoutout to for the sneak peeks of Nicole + Tyler’s special day!💗✨💒

Nicole & Tyler’s ceremony was filled with so much intention, so much love, and such a deep-rooted faith. As they stood together to take communion—one of the most sacred parts of their ceremony—the unexpected happened. The cork broke mid-pour, and in a matter of seconds, what was meant to be a quiet, reverent moment turned into something… well, a little messy (and yes, the officiant may or may not have ended up wearing the wine 🤍).

And honestly? It was perfect.

Because if that moment taught anything, it’s this: even when things don’t go as planned—even in the middle of something holy and intentional—nothing can shake what God has already ordained. There may be interruptions, there may be chaos, there may be moments that feel like everything is “off”… but God always prevails.

Nicole & Tyler didn’t miss a beat. They laughed, they stayed grounded, and they continued forward—hand in hand, exactly as they promised to do in their vows.

Their words to one another were so powerful… a commitment not just to love, but to serve. To walk beside each other faithfully for as long as the Lord allows. And if their wedding day was any indication, their marriage will be just that—full of grace, resilience, joy, and the ability to find light even in the unexpected.

A little spilled wine, a lot of laughter, and a whole lot of love.
