Payson High School will be on "The Today Show" tomorrow morning. Yes, the national television program. At 5:30 a.m. (MST) they will "check in" on us and our progress to get . They will check in again at 6:30 a.m. for some interviews. Our Drumline will most likely be one of the features to make it on to national television.

Tune in tomorrow morning at 5:30 a.m. MST / 7:30 a.m. EST to check us out!

Payson High School Marching Lions will be performing at Red Rocks State Marching Band Championship this Friday, November 4th at 12:00 p.m.

We have worked hard this year to give us a great trajectory for years to come. Wish us luck!

New Band Director!

Payson HS and Mt. Nebo JHS have hired Mr. Pearce Nitta as the new band director.

Mr. Nitta received his teaching degree from Brigham Young University. He has performed with the world renowned Madison Scouts and currently teaches with Utah’s own Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps. Mr. Nitta also continues to perform with several community Utah groups. A native to Las Vegas, he moved to Utah in 2015 and has been involved with Utah bands ever since.
