Join us in raising funds for K9s For Warriors, providing life-changing service dogs to veterans living with PTSD.

⛳ Tournament Format:
• Four-Person Scramble — Rain or Shine
• Par 3 Challenges – Closest to the Pin
• Longest Drive, Putting Contest, Mulligans & More
• 18 Holes with Cart Included

🍩 Morning Kickoff:
• Registration at 7:00 AM — Coffee & Donuts provided
• Shotgun Start at 8:00 AM

🍽️ After the Round:
• Lunch & Prizes at the Parkesburg VFW Event Hall

💲 Entry Fee: $115 per golfer

Proceeds benefit our veterans — let’s tee off for a mission that matters.

📍 At the Parkesburg VFW | Doors Open at 5PM

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to welcome you to a truly spectacular evening! ✨

🎶 Live music by the magnificent Déjà Vu from 6:30 to 10:30 PM
🍹 Signature Drink Specials:

– Old-Fashioned
(We will have our typical bar set up also!)

🎤✨ Meet Jack – The Karaoke King of VFW Post 4480! ✨🎤

Jack was the one who first suggested we bring The Closers to the VFW, and he was right—everyone loved them! He also had the idea to bring karaoke nights to life here, and tonight, he serenaded the building like only he can.

It was a pleasure to hear his voice echo through the hall—and if you haven’t tried his chicken corn noodle soup, trust me, it’s good enough to heal a broken heart.

We look forward to hosting more karaoke nights soon and hearing the voices of our members fill the space. Thank you, Jack, for being the heart, the voice, and the soul of the night.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Own 🇺🇸

This is Corwin and Bruce — two proud members of our VFW family. Bruce works closely with Quilts of Valor, bringing beautiful handmade quilts to veterans across local posts. But this one… this one is truly something special.

With intricate detail and bold patriotic imagery, it’s the most stunning quilt I’ve ever seen Bruce deliver — and there’s no one more deserving than Corwin.

On my very first day at the VFW, Corwin was one of the first to greet me with a warm smile. His kindness, humor, and unwavering support for our post never go unnoticed. He is as genuine as they come — and today, we’re proud to see him wrapped in honor.

Bruce’s unwavering dedication ensures that every veteran who wishes to be honored with a quilt receives one. His commitment to this mission is nothing short of inspiring, and we are so grateful for his continued service to those who’ve served.

🧵 About Quilts of Valor
The Quilts of Valor Foundation exists to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. A small but mighty group of just 31 volunteers — including our local hero Bruce — use their time and sewing machines to make it all possible.

Since they began counting in 2011, they’ve created over 375,337 quilts (though they’ve been making them since 2007!). These quilts take about six months to make and are nominated through www.qovf.org.
