When I started my small business 2½ years ago, it was from my passion of helping others create forever moments—memories that would stay in their hearts for years to come.
Over time, though, I began to notice the tablets in my children’s hands were staying there a little longer, while the late nights I spent working had me questioning whether I could truly “do it all.”
This summer, I made the decision to put my littles first. And wow… I didn’t realize just how many small, joyful moments I had been missing right in front of my eyes.
They say the one thing you can never get back is time, and that really stuck with me this summer.
With that realization, I’m humble enough to say that I tried being a small business owner—and I’ve learned that I can’t “do it all.” And you know what? I’m okay with that.
I’m incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to be part of so many special moments, whether through decorating, baking delicious treats, or simply helping bring someone’s vision to life. I’m so thankful to every person who gave me a chance, trusted my work, purchased from my small business, shared my posts, followed along, or simply cheered me on.
As my small business comes to an end, I can honestly say I am at peace with this decision. ❤️
