This old cabinet has been with me through a lot. My sweet little mama, Helen, was an avid antique collector and picked it up for me at a flea market in Michigan. After she passed in ‘09, and I moved to AK, it just had to come with me. It’s never been painted, it’s just as she found it. It lovingly held my daughter’s baby clothes and then her arts and craft supplies. Now, it’s finally made it to my porch and will be my little pick up stand for cotton candy and hopefully all the treats that I can’t wait to make. My mom knew this was always my dream, and using this feels absolutely perfect! When you pick up your order and open the door, which pattern would delight you the most?

We are so excited for this years faire, and we have a BIG surprise in store that faire goers will be the first to see! I’m terrible with secrets but I’m going to try hard to zip it until then!

I’m set inside Mat-Su Regional Medical Center from now until 8ish! Patriot BBQ is outside until 5 or sold out. Besides cotton candy, I have the perfect chocolate chip cookie, thin and crispy with 85% dark chocolate and a pinch of sea salt. I also have cotton candy marshmallows and a sweet little fresh lemon tea cookie for this glorious sunshine-y day! ☀️

Within the first 30 minutes of opening, we have received 3 food assist requests.

We continue to see a rising increase in the need from our community to help with animal food, cat litter, treats and small animal food to help them keep their pets in their home.

We are down to our last 4 bags of Dog Food.

Our Kibbles for Kritters Food Bank is for community, by the community. This program exists due to the wonderful giving nature of our community to help their own.

We provide what is donated through Kibbles for Kritters to help keep animals out of our shelter, and we meet many amazing humans this way.

That means we have the opportunity to provide not just food, but cat litter, bedding, and any extra toys or treats that were donated for this program to help pets and their people get through a rough patch.

If you'd like to donate in person, donations can be dropped off during open hours from 12 to 4, or left at the building doors near Night Drop.

We accept any brand of dry dog or cat food, any brand of wet dog or cat food, and any brand of cat litter.
