One of the hottest party trends right now is anything Italian themed. Whether it’s an Amalfi themed bridal shower, or pizza party for a first birthday, everyone seems to be embracing it all. That’s why when my client said her son’s birthday was going to be “Nico is ONE slice of fun,” I knew we were going to create a pizzeria themed backdrop, complete with handmade tomatoes!

That’s a wrap on Homecoming! I hope all the St. Viator students and families enjoyed their weekend. This was a fun helium arch I made for my client, Melissa Canning at the Inverness Golf Club. Groups gathered here for pictures and dinner before heading out to the main event!

Oh what a night! A great group of young men and parents got together for Fremd’s Homecoming weekend. Our village provided food, drinks, rides, pre and after parties, time for the parents to wind down, and of course balloons! 💚💛💚💛

I’m always grateful for any event I get to decorate, but I’ll admit I have a soft spot for Mitzvahs. I find there’s something deeply special about being a part of such important milestones and celebrations in a religion other than my own. (My Grandmother who ‘secretly’ wanted me to convert would be proud.) This Bat Mitzvah was for a lovely friend of mine I met through Irish dance. Her daughter requested a blue arch and I just knew we were doing flowers, we were doing bows, we were doing THE MOST 💙 This freestanding design is great for venues where you can’t attach your decor to walls or other structures.

This was a gorgeous set up for a birthday girl hosting a cupcake decorating party who is really into the Love Shack Fancy look. This means bows, pinks, and sprinkles! I made a jumbo bow for her stunning entrance, a backdrop with a balloon garland detailed with ribbon bows and balloon sprinkles, and brought helium balloons for centerpieces, etc. if you see a cake that matches the vibe, that’s my talented client’s work! 🎀
