Beautiful events can leave lasting impressions and lasting impacts.🤍

For this farewell dinner, native living plants supplied by Helewai Eco Tours were incorporated into the event design as sustainable centerpieces. After the program concluded, the plants were donated to the Pu’u Kukui Watershed Preserve to support ongoing native reforestation and watershed restoration efforts on Maui.🪴

Through partnerships like this, event décor becomes an opportunity to connect guests with the local community and contribute to the stewardship of Hawai’i’s natural resources.

🌺Meet Mele Coloma! She’s our newest Operations Manager.🌺

Born and raised on the North Shore, Mele has been working in Hawaii’s tourism industry for over 20 years, specializing in tours and transportation across the four major Hawaiian islands: O’ahu, Maui, Kaua’i, and Hawai’i Island. Having come from a family of watermen, she grew up fishing, paddling, surfing, and spending as much time in the ocean as possible. She’s a lifelong animal lover and proud mom to four rescue dogs.

When Mele is not working, you’ll usually find her enjoying the outdoors with her daughter and four-legged family. She loves exploring everything from Mauka (the mountains) to Makai (the ocean). Mele embodies the Aloha spirit and looks forward to helping our clients experience the best of Hawai’i!☀️
