"Uncle Photographer/Videographer" in my immediate and extended family. Shooting these events gave me the experience and freedom to take risks, thus discovering new techniques and "what if" scenarios. The word q
uickly spread that I was professional, reliable, quality-driven and reasonably priced. Working full time as a graphic artist and pre-press techician supervisor for Patuxent Publishing, a local Newspaper & Magazine publishing company, I was able to utilize my skills on weekends videotaping and photographing weddings, Mitzvahs, etc. Since I had a salary from my full time job, it allowed me to maintain a modest price while still offering a very quality and professionally driven service. Eventually I collaborated with Encounters, a Columbia, Maryland based
event planning company whose flare and elegant style in event planning gave me a wealth of experience shooting upscale events. As the industry migrated toward the digital scene, I began acquiring pro digital equipment. My first broadcast quality video camera resulted in stunning visual results. I continue to update my equipment to ensure that my clients are getting the highest quality images in the industry. My latest addition is HD video. I service Maryland and Washington, D.C. on a regular basis. However, I will travel wherever your affair takes place as long as you cover the cost of travel in addition to my normal fees.
