✨ Why Sweet & Ri Bridal Lounge Exists ✨

Since the very beginning of my hairstylist journey, I always knew my heart belonged to bridal.

For a long time, I thought I had to be a jack of all trades in this industry to be successful. And if you know me… you know I really tried. 😅
Lashes, microblading, color correcting, specialty perming, extensions — you name it, I’ve probably had education on it.

But over the last five years, something became so clear to me:
My heart craves wedding season.

There’s just something about being part of such a meaningful day — the love, the emotion, the beauty, the memories. And deep down, I felt a burning desire to bring something unique and special to our bridal industry.

After years of working as a pop-up hair and makeup artist, I kept running into the same problem:
Cramped, inconvenient, and uncomfortable getting-ready spaces.

My last straw was one wedding where I arrived as the makeup artist and had no space at all. The hair stylist had every table and counter in the small hotel room, and I was left using a leather high-top chair as my makeup station.

Half my time was spent digging through my bag or picking up products that rolled off.
And let’s be honest — as artists, we see this far too often.

Very few venues offer truly usable bridal suites.
And I knew there had to be a better way.

So I created one.

That’s how Sweet & Ri Bridal Lounge was born —
A luxury, mobile bridal space designed for artists and brides.

Our goal is to provide something luxurious and unique —
To make our brides feel taken care of beyond hair and makeup.

We strive to create an experience where our brides feel stress-free, relaxed, and truly present, able to soak in every moment of their big day.

Because let’s be honest…
This is one of the biggest days of their lives. 🤍

Today was one of those moments where I had to stop, look around, and thank God… and also laugh a little because wow — this journey has been something.

We officially have the front reframed and ready to be sealed, and honestly, I didn’t think we’d be here this soon. It was way easier than expected (thank you, Lord), and I’m beyond grateful for my husband who has carried the majority of this project on his back. I did frame a small wall myself — and yes, I will be bragging about that forever 😌💪🏼

Now… let’s talk about the shower floor.
Turns out it was completely gone. Like gone gone. The vinyl flooring was literally the only thing keeping us from falling through to the ground. So if you ever wonder how strong vinyl is — apparently VERY 😂
But in all seriousness, that moment hit me. Sometimes God lets the weak spots show so He can rebuild something stronger than it ever was before.

We’ve pulled all the old staples, cleared everything out, and next we’ll be reframing the back and opening up the bathroom to make it as accessible as possible — because this space is meant for everyone.

And somehow… in the middle of dust, tools, cold temps, and a tiny space heater fighting for its life — we already have 8 weddings booked for 2026 🥹🤍
That alone feels like God whispering, “Keep going. I’ve got you.”

I’m so thankful for a husband who believes in my dreams even when they feel huge, messy, and honestly a little scary. Someone who will stand next to me in 30-degree weather, cold hands and all, and say, “We’ll figure it out.”

For the first time in a long time, this doesn’t feel like destruction anymore.
It feels like progress.
It feels like obedience.
It feels like God building something beautiful right in front of us — one messy, meaningful step at a time.

And for the record… we’re officially past the “what did we get ourselves into” stage and entering the “okay wait… this might actually be happening” phase 😅🤍

Some couples hold such a special place in your heart… and for me, that’s Kristi & Mark. 💍

I’ve known these two for about five years — it all started with Mark’s haircuts every three weeks and helping Kristi nurse her hair back to health after some at-home adventures 😅. Over the years, I got to hear both sides of their love story: Kristi sitting in my chair saying, “When is he going to propose already?” and Mark quietly sharing how he wanted to make sure everything was just right before taking that step.

I’ll never forget the day he came in and told me, “I’m proposing this weekend.” He popped the question in the lavender fields of Door County (could that be any cuter?!) 💜 And to top it all off, their wedding featured the sweetest signature drink — lavender lemonade — a perfect nod to that moment.

When their day finally arrived, Kristi looked absolutely radiant, and Mark couldn’t stop smiling. I may have teared up a little seeing it all come full circle. 🥹

What made it even more special? They didn’t just include me for hair — they invited me to celebrate with them. That meant the world to me. ✨

Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs., and to a love that’s been growing strong for 9 years. Here’s to forever, lavender fields, and lifelong friendship. 💜

Meet Jessica — one of the most radiant brides we’ve ever had the joy of glamming up! ✨

Jessica and her fiancé share a love story that began when they were just 12 years old — a love that has grown right alongside them. 💕 Her entire family traveled all the way from Florida to celebrate their day at the gorgeous Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, bringing warmth, laughter, and sunshine with them.

Every detail of Jessica’s day carried meaning — from the heartfelt touches woven throughout, to her long, dreamy veil dusted with sparkling stars and moons that shimmered with every step. 🌙⭐

And in true Jessica fashion, she kept a bit of fun in the mix too — there had been a running joke that her wedding would be lime green, so she honored it with a tiny lime green heart painted on her nail. 💚 Such a perfect little nod to her personality and humor!

Jessica, you were truly one of a kind — radiant, kind, and glowing from the inside out. We’re eagerly awaiting the final photos because we already know… your day was nothing short of magical. 🤍
