4 OH! Dance Costume Garment bags for sale-
$25 for set of 4
34" long by 18" wide, 4 colors.
(These sell for $25 each online)

My daughter used these for 4 years and they are still in fantastic shape (there may be a random sequin or two in them lol)
She just outgrown them. Wish we could just find them longer 😊

Completely clear, full zippered side for costume and then 3 zippered pockets on opposite side (pockets accessible from inside also) -these pockets are perfect for shoes, tights, hairpieces, etc.
There is also a pocket on the front to insert the contact info, show #, costume detail sheet as well.

We really loved that these were clear, costume could be easily seen for quickly finding in racks of costumes.

Please message me to purchase, just in time for recital!

Hello dance friends/family!
This week 2/17 to 2/20 will be the final week to get costumes to me for pressing before picture day! March 1st my house will be inundated with cases of Girl Scout cookies, 80 cases to be exact.
And dance costumes and cardboard boxes just don't go well together!
So please message me no later than 2/20 to confirm pickup at the studio on Thursday evening!

All costumes will be returned by the end of next week 2/27!

This one reminds me of Cinderella's gown for the Royale Ball!
So naturally, my magical wand (iron) was waved and Abracadabra...beautiful!
You may wonder why I do not press the bodice of costumes...the body naturally stretches these wrinkles out and also, in the case of this costume, we don't press velvet material 😉 it can "crush" the velvet!
Message me SOON to get your costumes in tip top shape for Richard's picture day March 8th!

Here's another example of a costume people think maybe doesn't need some TLP (Tender Loving Pressing).
The wide banding around the bottom of the skirt is called horsehair (not made of a horse's hair, do not despair). It's made of a thick nylon thread that is used to give structure to a skirts edging. In packaging, sometimes the horsehair gets crimped/bent/twisted out of shape and will cause the costume to have a weird shape.
With pressing the costume, we straighten that horsehair back out flat and your costume will hold the skirt shape as intended.
Satin also tends to wrinkle easily so pressing that out nice and smooth makes the costume look pristine!

This is another example of just how much having costumes pressed can really make the costume come alive! Being stored and shipped in plastic bags makes the costume (and wearer) very sad!
Even the ones that come in long garment bags can use the help...most all materials can be pressed...chiffon, satin, tulle (even the really coarse kind that gives a tutu it's shape).

This is a costume from last year...

I will post some before and after pictures once costumes start coming to me but here is an example of my own daughters ballet costume from last year.
This was 8+ layers of tulle. Getting costumes pressed helps them look their best for pictures/show and who doesn't want great pictures for the money we spend on them! Most pressings will last until recital as long as they are properly placed back in the garment bag.

As costumes start to be handed out in dance classes this week, please message me to set up a time to get that tulle looking it's best for pictures!
I do NOT do alterations, this is simply just pressing costumes.
Prices vary according to amount of time if takes to press the costume.
Thanks!
