The Dale family recently celebrated the upcoming arrival of their baby, and we extend our congratulations to them. Although neither family resides in this area, they selected Sweet Pickins as the venue for their baby shower due to its central location for both sides of the family.

Another DIY project completed at the venue! The old privacy fence behind the venue basically fell apart this past winter, so we decided to give it new life using reclaimed boards from an old barn on our property.

These boards are especially meaningful to me—not only are they over 100 years old, but the barn was built by my relatives many years ago. Preserving a small piece of our family’s history while creating something beautiful for the venue made this project extra special. This DIY project would not have been possible without the hard work and help of my husband, Gerard. ❤️
