After doing the Disney College Program, moving across the country, changing degrees, transferring schools, getting certified as a wedding planner/designer, staring my own business, getting promoted as a Guest Services Coordinator at Universals Volcano Bay and a worldwide pandemic I am ecstatic to say I have officially graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Event Management at the University of Central Florida. Not only have I managed to get my degree, but I did it as top 30% of my class, with honors. š©š¼āšāØ

Letās talk about seating charts!
Creating a seating chart is definitely an overwhelming task. Here are some ways to make that process just a wee bit easier:
šAssign tables, not seats! This gives guests some choices as to where to sit while still being seated with people they know!
šMake it clear and easy for guests to find their names. Whether it be organized by last name or group it by family, make sure they can quickly and easily find where they will be sitting!
šKeep your venue and layout in mind you may want your parents close to you, but be mindful as to where the speakers are. Or you may have guests who love to drink, so donāt place them the farthest away from the bar.

Today was my very own bridal shower I planned myself! The budget was tight given Iām in my last semester of college so I kept it sweet and simple. Custom cake pops and chocolate covered pretzels as well as an array of other sweets and treats as well as minimalistic yet classic decor with colored aesthetics to match my wedding colors. Very well executed! Thank you to everyone who came! I appreciate all the love and support. š¤āØ

Itās your big day! Your day is about you and you shouldnāt have to feel bad about having it be your way! Politely tell your guests to leave the kids home for an adult-only wedding. It is not an unreasonable or uncommon request and when shared the right way, it will avoid hurting anyones feelings!
