Overdue for a beautiful b+w on your feed today ✨

I’ve obviously felt the shift to newborn and maternity photoshoots pulling hard on my heart strings, but photographing weddings all over CA still has my heart 🤍

I love love love this photo so much: I think that those tiny fingers wrapping around your finger is both literal and figurative. If only they could stay this little and snuggly forever; but the alligator stage isn’t so bad either :)

Is it too early to celebrate the beginning of fall? 🫣 Yesterday at Mount Shasta with Austin + Bailey was seriously SO beautiful - every fall color combined with their love for one another was just beyond the perfect recipe for their perfect fall couples’ photoshoot 🤍

I’m so lucky to be here: photographing love stories in beautiful places ✨ California has so much to be loved for, and our proximity to the mountains and the coast is definitely a blessing 🤍

A labor of love - my new website is meant to give every client, in every season, a feel for who they’ll be working with and what they can expect their experience to be.

I’m overjoyed by the people who trust my camera and I to put in the work, the creativity and the skills that the last five years in my photography business have taught me.

I really can’t say enough good things about this beautiful family. I had the honor of photographing their engagement photos, and when Bailey reached out for family photos with their sweet boy, I was just over the moon to see them again.

When you hire me again and again, it’s so incredible. I get to see your lives change, grow, evolve. Every season is so special!!

Feels like a good time for a lil’ reintroduction/iPhone pic life update (almost nine months after my baby was born) 🤣

I’m your 4ever photog, Hailey! I say forever because I really love the relationships I’ve established with clients who have truly turned into the best of friends (spending time together outside of photos, invited to each other’s special moments — that sorta thing). Genuine connection and being there from graduation to grandmotherhood is where the heart of my business lies.

I live in Orland, CA with the loves of my life - my hubby, my baby boy and our Bella girl 🐾 We love Jesus & quality time 🤍

Five fun facts about me:
1. Iced vanilla latte, half sweet
2. If I don’t have a photoshoot on a weekend we are GONE doing something fun in a cooler climate
3. I was a teacher for a long time, I have a Master’s Degree in Education and all 🤣
4. I am the generation that uses “lol” in every message
5. I’ve lived in NorCal for 14 years, but grew up in Orange County!

An itty bitty heel detail 🩰

When I photograph details, I look for (1) Light and (2) Texture. Sometimes I want high contrast, deep shadows and asymmetry and sometimes I want a muted backdrop so that details, like the lace on her wedding heels, stand out!

A little birdie (wedding magazines) told me that blue & maroon are the colors of 2027 weddings! Which really brings me back to this faux layered Hollister shirt I had back in 2007 …. For real my favorite shirt because one the colors and two I felt so trendy! But that’s besides the point! So what better than to post the beautiful blues from The DuBose’s wedding this past June!

I’m totally in love with the different shades and the attention to detail. From the girls’ gift wrapping, to the boys’ ties and blue floral accents, it was all tied together so elegantly.
