What do you do on a hot June day? You get married in a gorgeous venue with beautiful grounds. I loved planning with sweet Mabry her mamma. They lived next door to my own mamma while their house was being built. And Mabry did childcare at my barre studio. However, due to my married last name, Mabry and I never put together the connection until my mamma said she was going to Mabry Black’s wedding and I realized it was MY Mabry. That made the occasion even more special.

Mabry and Cole were high school sweethearts and have been together long enough to know each other through the good, the bad, and the ugly. It was fun to watch how well they did the couple thing, knowing each other’s habits and anticipating reactions. Mabry selected beautiful blue and white decor, and we missed any rain in the area.

It was a sweet ceremony performed by Reverend Glenn Eubanks. Both the bride and groom had such sweet family and friends supporting them that it made for a most enjoyable night. Dinner was delicious and then groups visited in the cool of the gallery. The rest went under the tent to dance the night away.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Chandler exited to bubbles and glow-sticks and departed in the most gorgeous yellow roadster. We wish you the very best!

Abby and Landon married on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. This bride is amazing as she recently graduated from pharmacy school during wedding planning! Nothing like a good life change, right? She has known her groom for quite some time and it was fun to watch two people who knew each other so well. The bridal party served them well and everyone just wanted to have fun together. The father of the bride said he practically saw them all grow up together. Daniel and Lane were two of the best ushers around.

It was a sweet ceremony looking out at the water through their hexagon arch. Everyone was happy to come in the gallery and cool off. The food was delicious, and the cakes were beautiful- can’t wait to see the professional pictures. The bridal party and bride and groom made a spectacular impromptu entrance and the dance floor was full all night.

Best wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Sahler!

We just love a bride that has a vision. It was great fun working with Elle- she was beautifully organized and loved her details. And it was a delight to execute her plan for her. Elle had 17 bridesmaids and without fail, they all said Elle brought them together and she was the essence of fun. Everyone was devoted to the bride and groom and wanted them to have the best day ever.

The guest book was two personalized co****le boards for everyone to sign. Her father made a cross for them to stand under and be married. Their officiant baptized Elle as a little girl and held the Bible Elle’s grandfather used as a preacher. The grandmothers were “flower grannies”. It was a hot day, and the snow cones were a perfect treat. The food was delicious and then everyone danced the night away with a fabulous band, Trotline. The dance floor stayed full!

And to exit, everyone had a brass bell, handpicked by the bride and groom from antique stores all across Alabama. The guests proclaimed good news, and them picked up their favor, a Scout book, named for their dog Scout!

We wish the newest Pierces the very best!🤩

Mara and Brian “finally” tied the knot, as Mara said in her vows to Brian, as the guests laughed in response. Brian and Mara shared their own personal vows to each other in front of family and friends. We were so glad the rain held off so Mara could have her wish to marry outside with her water view. Mara and Brian have been together for eight and a half years- so as Brian’s mom pointed out, they really know each other, through good times and bad.

Mara loves purple and the flowers and cake reflected her personal style. Her bridesmaids wore it, and the groomsmen added touches of jade. Ringo, Mara’s Jack Russell terrier was the sweetest and most charming ring bearer ever. Mara has had him since high school and Sam guided him around so he could be with everyone all night. We all enjoyed Mara’s dad, Greg, and could have visited with him all night. Mara’s mom was honored at the Memorial table and was displayed on the cover of a book, Women in Chemistry.

A very special and fun fact is that Mara knew my dogs before me. Mara is a vet tech where my boys go. Once she hired me through the venue, she noticed my boys folder and put two and two together. It was fun seeing Dr. Kasey and Anna, too.

We wish the new Mr. and Mrs. Brantley the very best.

It was a beautiful day to be married on the Alabama coast. After a relationship of over a decade, Cameron and CJ tied the knot. Cameron was a wedding coordinator’s dream. She knew exactly what she wanted and it was gorgeous. The patterned blues and special touches made for the perfect background to reflect the bride and groom uniting in marriage.

The Officiant was a family friend, Ken Elliott, and he performed an intimate ceremony for the couple and then on behalf of the couple, invited everyone to a cocktail hour with champagne and jazz, as the ceremony area transitioned to an additional reception area. Then everyone went in to dinner while the bride and group had a private meal. There was piano and violin accompaniment as dinner was enjoyed in the venue. More seating was under the clear topped tent with additional music.

The couple was introduced into the tent and did their couple-dance on the black and white checkered dance floor. Then the groom danced with his mom. During the father daughter dance, the maid of honor, the bride’s sister joined them for a sweet moment. And the dance floor opened up with a great band. The bridal cake was a delicious confection of multiple layers with different flavors, and you should have seen the groom’s cake, prepared by a friend: a giant tuna!

The beignet truck arrived for guests to have a later night snack. Bride and groom exited where a vintage car awaited them to whisk them away.

Best wishes to Cameron and CJ! 🎉🎊

What happens when a boy and girl begin everything over pasta salad? Ally and Logan found each other early in life and held on tight to eventually marry. You want to talk about the sweetest couple ever? Everyone adores them, from family, to guests, to all the vendors. They were and are perfect for each other.

The weather was tricky, but after rehearsal, the officiant cooper prayed and asked God to give some decent weather for the ceremony, and God granted the bride and groom’s wish. We managed a ceremony and first dances outside and continued the reception inside as the rain befan to fall. The guests danced the night away to a great dj tream, Shawn and Alvin, who kept the dance floor full. The Coastal Art Center was the perfect venue with their usual excellent team. Dinner was delicious, and Deanna, mother of the groom added the original simple pasta salad from a box with the sign “How it All Began”. Sandy, mother of the bride provided a beautiful pen for the guestbook that was used for her and the bride’s father’s wedding. The bride’s father built the cross they married under. Sweet touches all around.

The bride and groom exited to cold sparks and cheers, and prepared for their honeymoon trip to St. Lucia. We wish them an extra special congratulations! Coastal Arts Center Weddings

Sarah and Riley had a church wedding at Riley’s grandparents home church. Chris Smith officiated the sweet ceremony in which the bride felt beautiful in the wedding dress of her dreams. And she was.

The family decorated a Christmas wedding theme with traditional red and green colors as family and friends witnessed the couple uniting in marraige. The bride surprised her groom with a touching audio sentiment of her love prior to walking down the aisle.

Congratulations to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Smith. We wish you the very best.

What happens when a girl goes to the FloraBama with her girlfriends and they are dressed up for fun as tacky tourists, and she meets a boy, wakes up her mother that night and says, “I found the boy I’m going to marry?” She does!

Her mother pulls together her people, they hire some vendors, and they plan a wedding. And a beautiful wedding it was. Classy with a pop. Lots of traditional elements in southern silver, and the flower girls and ring bearer outfits. The groom’s mom Nancy had friends that dressed the venue in gorgeous white textured flowers. The bride was stunning in her dress. The groom wore family “cufflinks” in his shirt. A good friend Christopher, officiated the wedding with lighthearted memories of the couple. Dinner was served with a buffet of many choices including fried chicken tenders, flatbread pizzas, and a carving station.

Then the group went outside to the tent and the couple was announced by a ten piece band. They danced the night away. Then, the couple had Taco Bell and Krystal’s served before they hit the road. They had a sendoff and sailed off in their decorated golf cart.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Paterson! 🎉🎊🪅

Grace and Reagan are married and what a gorgeous day it was. There were all sorts of special touches that made the day special. Grace and Reagan knew that they each found “the one” after the first date. And they proved it as they walked down the aisle at the church. The ceremony was co- officiated by both the bride and groom’s pastor that they grew up with, Pastor Joel Samuels and Pastor Harris Hand.

The bridal party took a white trolley to the reception for a sunset cocktail hour on the grounds and moved to a delicious brisket dinner. The bride and groom entered their reception to their first dance backed by The Tip Tops. The Tip Tops kept the dance floor crowded for the rest of the night in a fun dance party. Everyone enjoyed the five tiered bridal cake, but before it was even cut, the crowd decimated the authentic looking golf balls/cake balls on the grooms table. The groom got not even one and laughed that everyone enjoyed them. The couple excited in a decorated white jeep and sailed off to start their new life as husband and wife. We wish them the very best!

Shayla and John were joined in marriage today. It was a sweet and simple ceremony, just as the bride wanted. One of my favorite moments was that the groom’s mother Sharon officiated the marriage, and she and her son processed out together. John is a Youth Minister and he and his mom attended both attended Emory.

The bridal party was composed of dear friends and family who beautifully supported the bride and groom. The bride’s mom Belinda performed the hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness”. The bride and groom wrote their own vows and I must say the photographer and I may have each had a tear in our eye.

The bride and groom met and drew close during the Covid time. They’ve been through good times and bad, and you can tell they plan to stick close.

We wish our very best to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Edgar.

We had a refreshing change with a beautiful morning ceremony today. Makenzie and Jake married at 10:30 inside their beautiful venue where they didn’t have to worry about heat or rain. The family came to the rehearsal with all their decor and placed everything as we rehearsed. They woke up early the day of the wedding came on over and did pictures. The BBQ was delivered for lunch. And three of the best women I have worked with put out all the food and replenished and even cut the cake when it was time. Shout out to Aunt Vickie Davis and her dear friends.

Ryan Tew officiated a heartfelt ceremony of a bride and groom that knew each other well. In fact the respective families gather and do things together. This event felt like a family reunion with a wedding ceremony thrown in- it was casual fun and togetherness, and a beautiful witness to the couple uniting in marriage.

The couple left to drive to Biloxi. We hope they win the biggest jackpot ever. Here’s to the new Mr. and Mrs. Tucker!
