Saturday, September 28, 2021 was a special night at St. Kates as we raised over $230,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of eastern Wisconsin. The live auction along was over $20,000 on a few items including Bucks memorabilia. It's safe to say over 75% of attendees took part in the appeal which was in access of $200,000! There were both serious moments and hilarious moments making it a night to remember:).

Less than a week after Make A Wish in Kohler, we headed to Hartland to hang out with the Arenas family at Palmer Steak House. A special treat to auction with Jim Paschke again and we even surprised him with us donning a shirt that all Bucks fans will recognize:). Nearly $60,000 raised that evening.

Finally able to share some auction updates as pictures and totals have been taking a little longer than other years. Plus, some scheduled events have been postponed to next year and even cancelled. In any event, the very generous people of Sheboygan County spent nearly $70,000 on the live auction on 8.23.21. Kohler RIver and Meadow courses were in immaculate condition and the food was delicious. So much fun working with the team from Make-A-Wish!

Our third live event was on Saturday May 8 at The Prairie School in Racine. It was held outside in a heated tent with delicious food and very generous people. Fewer people at this year's event, however after the live and reverse auction, over $94,000 was raised.

Great organization to work with!

It was such fun to join our volunteer auctioneers Daven J. Claerbout Auctioning and Pete Zervakis to record footage in the new House for our May 1 gala. We can't think of a better way to celebrate the power of philoxenia (hospitality toward strangers) than with their warm, inviting give-and-take. Tickets to the program are still available at: https://kathys-house.org/events/

Our auction opens Monday, but you can register now to bid. Just text "Philoxenia" to 76278. Remember to bid early and bid often. Every dollar supports our critical operations campaign! #NVW #NewHomeforHealing

We had a blast working out with Donald Driver yesterday! The SHARP workout is a perfect way to stay active this winter. Thank you to our presenting sponsors, Global Containment Solutions, LLC, Network Health Wisconsin and Zizzo Group for making our first tour stop such a smash hit! And of course, we couldn’t have done it without our fabulous emcee FOX6's Carl Deffenbaugh!

Our last auction was over five months ago. This past Sunday (8/31/20) was a first for us. Not only was it a live event, it was also virtual as we had bidders watching us with a slight delay, however still enabled to bid (both on live and silent). It was a success as the Palmer's Steakhouse Tent Event raised nearly $200,000. The live auction alone was over $61,000. These proceeds are specifically for the Anthony J. Arenas Professorship at UW-Madison. It was an honor to be introduced and also assisted by WOKY legend, Bob Barry.

It's been over three months since our last auction which was an awesome evening at the Pfister. The Lombardi Award of Excellence recipient - Russell Wilson - was a hit with all, a very genuine person. He was also very charitable as we sold two VIP packages at $25,000 each for a future Seahawks game. The crowd was extremely generous including nearly $70,000 on the live and over $50,000 on the reverse.

15 events have been cancelled this year, however we do have some tentatively scheduled for the remainder of the year. Let us know if we may help you with yours.

Governor Evers just extended the quarantine through Tuesday, May 26th, and many of us are likely feeling angry and frustrated about it -- perhaps even depressed. And, yet, there's much to be hopeful about, and a lot that we can be doing -- starting with our devotion to the LORD. I'm praying for you!! #FPO #Pastorwithamohawk #quarantine #coronavirus #Hope #devotion

Last Saturday evening, 290 (Sold Out) lucky people had a sneak preview of the new Art Preserve (not open to the public until August 2020). It was the scene for the John Michael Kohler Art Center’s 2020 Benefit Gala. The Hue and Eye theme featured green and the range was hilarious costumes, thought-provoking outfits, or some green suits like mine - Thanks Jake and Anna Toman of Toman's in Kohler!! It was an exciting atmosphere and collectively, over $110,000 was raised on the live and reverse auctions.

Tied together in brotherly love was the theme this past Thursday night at Pine Hills in Sheboygan. The fundraiser for Samaritan's Hand was another success, thanks to nearly 200 very generous people from the community. It was our highest live and reverse auction total ever - nearly $28,000 on those two parts of the program.
Samaritan’s Hand, Inc is solely based on faith & Jesus’s love. We pray for those in need, we give clients bibles if needed, we teach forgiveness, love & mercy. Our hope is that we reunite families, get individuals back in the work force & make them want to be important individuals in our community! Our counselors’ passion for people’s healing & Jesus is unmistakable & we take being clean seriously.

Definitely a great way to start the 2020 auction season at Circle B in Cedarburg today. We raised $6,500 at the Rabbits Unlimited event in just over 15 minutes. The crowd was 'hilarious.' Oh by the way, they were also very generous.

The mission of Rabbits Unlimited, Ltd. is to raise money for the goal of finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and providing support for those living with MS. Donations raised through the Rabbits Unlimited, Ltd. annual fundraising event, held in southeastern Wisconsin, have contributed to MS research, assistance programs for individuals affected by MS, and scholarships.

Our last event of the year was at the 7th annual birthday bash for the Open Arms Free Clinic (Walworth). The event was held at the beautiful Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva. The goal was $50,000 which would mean we would meet a match of $50,000. Reaching that goal would be a nice boost toward the purchase of a building to upgrade their dental programs. The crowd delivered, we raised $105,000:) - double our goal - and with our match, the reverse auction totals were $155,000. Sara Nichols - executive director - and I were should we say, really excited.

OAFC is the first and only free medical and supportive care clinic in Walworth County serving low-income and uninsured residents with primary medical, dental, vision, behavioral health, lab and pharmaceutical assistance.

A fun-loving/generous crowd tonight at the Radisson Mayfair tonight. They donated over $9,000 in between many laughs. All proceeds were for the non-profit 'Lindsay's Voice - Trees of Hope.' Mission: To fight leukemia. Lindsay’s Voice was created nine years ago as a way to celebrate the life of Lindsay (Wenzel) Lopez, a 32 yr old wife and Mother, who lost her 14-month battle against Leukemia on Nov 22, 2010.

Over $8,000 was raised last Thursday (11/14/19) on the live and reverse auctions for MDA. The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA)’s Toast to A Cure Gala is an event dedicated to saving and improving lives and was held at the Berkshire in Sheboygan. I got to hang out with Devin Argall from Manitowoc who lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He is an awesome young man, has his drivers license and is going to be going to college to become a sports broadcaster:). Watch out Jim Paschke!

Fun, great news all around, spectacular.....just some of the words used in email replies to the announcement that a record amount was raised at The Pfister for SHARP Literacy this past Monday night. Final figures are not in as of yet. However, we do know that the voice auction and reverse auction totaled over $117,000. And Craig Counsell did not disappoint. The crowd loved him.

This past Thursday and Friday - results and pictures are not in yet - was spent in Sheboygan for MDA and the Shine on Event for RCS. This coming Monday will be the SHARP Literacy event with Milwaukee Brewers Manager Craig Counsel at The Pfister in Milwaukee. Thanks to SHARP's President/CEO Lynda Kohler for making us VIP's and we look forward to meeting the manager before the action/auction begins. Thanks also to Jake and Anna Toman of Toman's Men's Fashions in Kohler for keeping us in style for all of these events...…...including two more for the year. Then I think we're done for 2020 unless you have an event we may help with. We're over $2.5 million this year and appreciate everyone's generosity in helping many worthy causes.

This past Monday night was a treat. Not only did we get to auction with Donald Driver, Dorsey Levens, George Koonce and current wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, our 'gang' got to hang out with Kool and the Gang - the night's entertainers. It was truly a 'Celebration' (their last song for the evening) as we raised around $20,000 on four items.
