Hi, I’m Yare, the heart behind Mesa Querida.
I come from a family where el corazón was always found at the table. Every cena was a celebration, every bite was a memory, and every gathering felt like a blessing. I’m proudly of Cuban descent, now married into a beautiful Mexican family, and at our table, you’ll find all the richness of both culturas. Flavors, traditions, and historias come together, creating something uniquely vibrant, warm, and full of alma.
Mesa Querida was born from that mezcla, from the love of bringing familia and amigos together around mesas filled with sabor, laughter, and corazón. It’s about honoring where we come from and creating new memories that feel just as sacred.
Every event, every table I design, is crafted con cariño, down to the smallest detail, because I believe every guest should feel like they’re part of something special.
