I had the pleasure of being invited to speak with the youth in the Life Skills Program for their Indigenous Entrepreneur Day! 🌿

The morning started off with me introducing myself and engaging with the youth during a Q&A session about my journey in catering.👩🏽‍🍳

We talked about everything from... how I got my start, my least favorite meal to cook, what I like best about being my own boss to the mistakes that I've made and what I've learned from them. ❤️‍🩹

For me the ✨highlight✨ of the day was when I introduced everyone to charcuterie and how to make a "pepperoni sunflower" 🌻 for their own mini boxes that they created! 🍇🧀🫒🍓

I had the BEST time yesterday teaching and spending time with everyone! I definitely look forward to having many more classes. 🫶🏽

NOTE: This was an "alcohol free" event, sparkling grape juice was served.
