🌾 TALLGRASS PRAIRIE | THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE DAY

The first Tallgrass Prairie Songwriters Festival may have looked like a big production, but behind the scenes it was mostly two people, a whole lot of work, and a lot of figuring things out as we went. 😂

So today, we want to give a very special THANK YOU to the people who helped make it happen.

🎶 Andrew Eckart for running sound all day and keeping 25 artists sounding their best.

🎟️ Our volunteers who helped at the check-in and merch tables and gave us a chance to step away once in a while. 😉

🍔 Nocturnal Eats for bringing the amazing burgers, sandwiches, and fries.

🧆 Zataar House for the delicious subzi, hummus, and other incredible food.

🎸 The artists who pitched in with setup and teardown. We noticed, and we appreciated the extra hands!

🌾 Falconwood for generously giving us the space to bring this crazy idea to life. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to start.

☀️ And a special thank you to Mother Nature for keeping the rain away and cooperating with our little outdoor adventure. We appreciate you. 😂

And to everyone who showed up, bought a ticket, listened to the music, grabbed some food, bought some merch, and supported our very first festival...

Thank you. ❤️

This first one was truly bootstrapped from the ground up. Justin and I wore a lot of hats, figured things out as we went, and poured a whole lot of time and energy into making it happen.

And honestly? If this is what we were able to pull off with limited resources, we can't wait to see what Tallgrass Prairie Songwriter's Festival can become with a little more behind it. 🌾🎶
