We went to Russell, IA for the Russell Best in Smoke BBQ Competition this weekend. It was a great time with our bbq family. Plus it’s always a blast to visit these small town festivals to be part of their fundraising.
Here is how we did.

We traveled to Kearney, NE for their BBQ on the Bricks competition. 11 teams made it a great experience.

Pork Ribs - 5th place
Pork - 2nd place 🥈
Overall - 2nd place 🥈!!

What started out with a storm that overwhelmed our canopy (R.I.P.), turned into the most beautiful weather to compete in. First Street Brewing Company as always was an amazing host that took such good care of us at the Downtown Do the 'Que competition in Hastings, NE. Here is how we did.

People’s Choice Ribs - first place 🥇!!
Pork Ribs - fourth place
Pork - third place 🥉
Overall - third place 🥉!

We are thrilled that the people chose our ribs, seasoned with our Grill ‘em All rub and sauced with our Griller Bee Honey Chipotle sauce as their top favorite.

Congratulations to Beef N Que on their GC. We love the MidWest BBQ Association family of organizers and teams.
